    Wallace was immense on Saturday.

He's like a Scottish Gareth Bale only not as good and not as Welsh.

Depressing reading those comments tbh . For years Scotlands have fielded players who have hardly kicked a ball in months at any level and the monkeys don't bat an eye .

Most of the ****s support Oirland anyway so why do they give a **** who gets called up for Scotland ?

Regardless of what division he plays in Wallace is the best left back that the national team have. Nationality aside he is also the best left back in any division of the Scottish league.

Regardless of how good or not Lee Wallace is, it's not unreasonable to point out that he might not be best prepared for international football when he hasn't played against full-time professionals on a regular basis since May 2012. I realise other players in the squad are struggling to hold down regular places in their teams etc but the point still stands.

The point would be those players who don't get a regular game for their clubs so can't be best prepared for international duty yet very little is said about that . A Rangers player gets selected and the peasants are up in arms .

Look at the stooshy when Ian Black got a call up . He was shortlisted as a possible player of the year a couple of months earlier. He had hardly kicked a ball in the third division but still there were cries of third division footballer .

I fear there maybe more to it than just playing at a certain level .

To be fair, plenty of scotland fans moan about Hutton continually being picked despite not getting a regular game. And tons have moaned over the last few years about Kenny Miller being first choice striker when we had the likes of Rhodes and Fletcher fit and able to play. So it's hardly limited to Rangers players.

Ian Black getting a call up was a shocker because he's properly ****e. But him getting booed was also a shocker because no matter how ****e he is, once picked, he (and anyone who gets on the pitch) should be given support by the fans.

So, imo, moaning about the choice of players when the squad's announced is fine. That could be Tims thinking a "3rd division player" shouldn't be near the squad or the Rangers fans (and others) who think that Broon being captain is a shocker of a decision. Neither of those is exactly an indefensible point of view. But once the team is on the pitch, everyone should be getting behind the whole team.

Why is Aiden "The Fying Scotsman" O'Geady not in the squad?

So you would rather play people who are severely lacking in match practice, as opposed to someone who has stood head and shoulders above every opposition player he has came up against? He's still got the technique he had, and he is still extremely fit......so what is the issue? Oh yeah, he's a 'sevconian' <doh>
