I expect a few deals will be done by the time I'm up and dressed, it'll be fun looking through all the deals throughout the day and who makes the best signing.
Where did I say it will happen? I said we talked to him but he decided to go to Liverpool obviously. You wouldn't have liked him here anyways as he isn't English.
I can't recall WBA spending any significant transfer fee this summer. Wages would of gone up with Anelka but that's about it. Are they saving for some infrastructure?
As far as I'm aware, their chairman is just very safe with money. Not exactly a wallet-opener, in the main. That's all very well and commendable, and I'd never openly criticise a chairman for being that way. But given the new Sky deal that kicked in this summer, and the extra cash that every club in the league right now has, it's maybe no longer wise.
After such a great season last year he's been somewhat disrespected in the way he's been used and I'm hearing a return to London with Fulham maybe on the cards. Really hope that's tosh.
Pochettino denied it after the Norwich game, and this disrespect because he's being played on the bench thing is really quite annoying.
Liverpool confirm signings of Sakho and Ilori, still waiting on Moses. West Brom have apparently beaten West Ham to the signing of Fabio Quagliarella.
I'm not going to move from my sofa all day! Got SSN on and don't want to miss a second of the most exciting day in the history of mankind!!!! I've even got a bucket next to me to pooh and pee in. I WILL NOT MISS A SECOND OF TODAYS WONDERMENT.
Scrap that about Ozil. According to Ben Smith, BBC Sport journalist, Man Utd are definitely NOT in for Ozil.
