Before I was a mod I had no idea how hard it can be to try to keep a board running smoothly especially when trying to deal with awkward posters & you would have to agree that the Welsh Prem teams have their fair share

I have been even more surprised since becoming a super-mod how much work brb does behind the scenes to keep this site a good & spam free place to post.

As super-mods we have to depend on boards mods to understand the local politics & ask us for help when needed ie who needs a ban from their boards. We act accordingly - of course at times we will be seen as wrong ..... goes with the job

Both brb & myself hold responsible jobs & have family lives that effect our time & mood .... sometimes coming on here & listening to grown men squabbling is the last straw in a long day & can completely piss us off .... however we do try to stay fair in our decision making

I do have to say that you are edging toward pissing me off so completely that I would love to just ban you for your lack of respect for brb trying to do his best

..... so if you carry on with this I may just ban you cos I can

I've seen how you post and have done for a long time now and I just have to say that I don't believe it for one minute that you would abuse your powers and ban someone just because you can. You don't need me to tell you that would be totally out of order I just know you won't do it Minxy. Please remember that we don't know how much work supermods do behind the scenes, you know you're always welcome on here and you can always de-stress yourself with us after a hard day.

You say that you rely on local knowledge, well I'll give you my honest appraisal on a few things take it as you want but everything I'm about to say is true...

KJ aka Aussie was 100% correct what he said about John Hughs lying about a girlfriend with cancer. This happened a few years ago and he was caught red handed lying. Older regulars like Dai, Phil, Norway, Ivor etc etc can confirm this. Right now there is an agenda on the Cardiff board to get our posters banned. I notified our mods at the time and they agree with me. I was told to F off by two Cardiff posters and nothing was done about it, that's the reason I chose not to post on that board.
I've argued cat and dog with KJ on here and we both had each other on ignore for months but to ban him would be very wrong. He is a Swansea poster and all this started off with him speaking the truth about Hughs. I will defend any of my fellow Swansea posters if I feel they are a victim of an injustice and all this started off with an injustice on the Cardiff board and I lay the blame firmly at the door of the Cardiff mod responsible NOT the supermods.

Take all that as you will, I'm a lot of things but I'm not a liar

No hard feelings and I'll see you in the Hinge because you're always welcome

Thanks Dil .... you are right I wouldn't abuse my powers & neither does brb .... although it can be very tempting at times :D
 
Dilli, the reason for the ban is valid because no one knows if it is a lie. Also because it was on the BBC 606 board there was no reason for anyone to discuss it, ancient news.
There is no agenda to get Swans banned on the Cardiff board, that is your insecurities surfacing.
All this thread did not start with Hughes, he's banned from this board and hasn't posted here!
