Is it just me, or did we look WAY more threatening and lively with Remy, Cisse, Gouff, and HBA all out on the pitch at the same time?

If we're going to play a 4-4-2, I'd love to see:

Remy Cisse

Gouff Cabaye/Anita Sissoko HBA

Santon Colo YMB Debuchy

Krul

Now, if only we could finish off some more of the opportunities when they are created. I don't feel like we'll have one striker who's scores tons of goals this season, but I do feel like those four will all chip in their fair share. Gouff will put in 4-6, HBA 6-8, and Remy and Cisse 10-12 each. I'd be happy with that.

I think the problem comes when you turn to the bench and you have nothing to change it. If we signed a wide man and a striker (Ba and Moses <laugh>), I think Pards would be tempted to just get them all on the pitch. he problem is if you play all your top cards, it won't always come off. So you then have to be clever when to and when not too. Might be an idea to strengthen the squad <whistle>

I definitely see your point. But I guess my argument is like yours - sign a good left winger and another striker and we could have that potent attack on the field to start the match and still have some firepower on the bench. Wishful thinking that we'll actually strengthen the squad? Not much time left....

If we can replace Cisse with better then I'd do a Tash over that formation

pfffttt! Mike Ashley didnt become a Billionaire by doing stupid things like that! :police:

I thought Gouffy was the best performer out of the substitutes that came on. I think people where watching the match on some sh*tty Russian stream and were mixing up Remy and Gouffy because they both wear orange boots, have a similar skin colour and both have a shaved head.

I can't believe some people are saying he had a poor game and that Remy was amazing. Remy did well but the Gouff provided the bigger threat.
