"if I was a MOD I would have banned this straight away" Lucky you ain't a mod then, NJ. :)

On this point Valley is dead right. You may not agree with Dai. His views may piss you off. You may feel like throttling him. But rest assured there are people in Swansea who are asking this very question and it IS worthy of debate even if most of us think it's ridiculous to even contemplate losing our Manager. Banning someone for making what some might see as provocative threads will be the death knell of the forum - but I suspect that ship may well have sailed already.

I await a comment about promising to leave. <whistle>

Don't hold your breath.

Hey I have been good so far, held back all my urges to say something about my good friend Dai :) Can I have a gold star?

for those who got into the spirit of the debate because that is what it is i thank you. there are some really good responses that i was looking for and stereo's post was a well balanced reply, This is not a wum thread but a debate that is valid and should be asked. some spoke about what i have said regarding the style we play now to the style we use to play and its because of how results have been since the middle of last season that me and others are concerned that we have lost the confidence in the players like they use to have. there is only so many times that you can see articles in the press by the players and the manager saying that they need to improve as it becomes just excuses when you hear it after poor results. I agree with a lot of you that we have lost our flair and we don't look like a side of dominance anymore and with the players we have then something is not working and i don't care if nobody likes it but the manager is the one who controls how we play and if he is upset then he should have the ability to put things right...It was not broke in the first place but i support his right to install any changes he thinks we need but and its a big but... if after a period of time that we all see that we are not as good and not getting results that we would have got before any change then instead of carrying on revert back and figure out another option....Anyway thanks again to those who joined in i appreciated it and for those who just want to mock and spoil the thread then the mods now know who to look at in any future threads i may do and i'm sure they will take the necessary action without me reminding them.......this thread may now be closed at the mods discretion..thank you..

Wum or not the OP was a very balanced thought out piece of writing that instilled debate on the forum. Therefore I see no reason to ridicule the poster. That being said I believe that we should be writing off the first 6 games as we have tough games ahead but also think we have more than enough quality to stay in the prem, Our run in this year is quite reasonable.

Are you walking away from the thread before answering my question about how many points the Swans must gain in the next 8 matches in order for Sir Michael Laudrup to avoid being sacked by your good self?

Considering the OP, I think it's a fair question to ask.

Fine words but no answers to legitimate questions asked I'm afraid .

Sacking Laudrup after 10 games is ridiculous, even if we lose them all, but by then certainly everyone would be debating the issues, and rightly so, though I suspect our board would see the season out regardless!...............<ok>

If we sacked him after 10 games, how much would it cost us Dai?

And who would you replace him with?

Don't close the thread until you answer my questions and those of other posters, after all you want debate!...............<cheers>

He won't answer the questions, and you know he won't.

He got some sort of defence from some posters, and he is using that to look the innocent party hence his last post, the bloke reads what he wants, and ignores the rest. More fool them is all I can say. They may say we are out of line, but sorry, im not stupid enough to fall for his bull**** unlike some. He knows EXACTLY what he is doing.

A perfect example of how he uses what he wants to get his points accross, is that he ALWAYS goes on about "many swans fans agree with me" bull****, i mean, im sure there will be a few, but many? If many were to agree with him, then surely, there would be at least ONE person on here who agree's with him, but there is not one I have seen agree with his point of view. Yes, not all swans fans use this forum, but we are talking basic averages here. How many is many? 3, 10, 100, 1000, 5000? He doesn't give more details, because he knows he will give away the fact its probably ony about 3 fans that agree with him in a circle of mates down the pub, who are all glass half empty kinda guys.

why should i answer a question ...it is the managers job that not me.....i put a thread up for debate and because there are some decent fans on here willing to debate then you are miffed, get over it lads its a forum and not what do dai think.<doh> My views are irrelevant just like every other poster on here so what i think are my views and i and will choose if i want to make my views known or not and there is nothing you can do about it......now post on any thread you want but try and stick to the thread and not try and stir things up by turning it into a dai's only opinion thread....

Thanks for saying your opinions are irrelevant, some may fall for your bull****, but not me buddy, you won't answer cos you are not into that sort of thing, you like to stir the pot.

After all, did you just not make that post in response to someone? What is the difference, as I said, only when it suits.

And if you don't want to be asked questions due to it being Laudrups job, then shut the **** up with your opinion that we are playing ****, after all, that's Laudrups job to sort it out, you can't have it both ways.

Your way of debate, is talk crap, then walk away, someone asks you a question, you don;t then want to debate. Its pure crap. Shame certain others cannot see it and stick up for you.

My questions Dai?

Never mind the crap, let's see who you would bring in mr know it all, Laudrup must go load of bull!...............<ok>

not interested everyone can see what you are...so you carry on digging a big hole for yourselves...me i don't care..<ok>

yes keep it on for all i care its not about who will replace laudrup its about how long before we say enough is enough as results are not improving..9pts out of 42 for example...but feel free to answer the ones who want to know who we should replace laudrup with as i am not interested in that and is not the original topic..<ok>
