What exactly makes you say/think that? This is what get's me about the anti-LUST crowd. Have you spoke to Cooper? Have you asked him about LUST's aims? Have you any credible evidence or experience to make this judgement or is it 'I say him on the tv...he looked like an egotistical twat'? Yes my mate had a choice but it's a hell of a lot easier to say no when you have a job, stable home, supportive family, clear bill of health. If you was in his situation (PTSD, Depression, practically unemployable, grew up in care ect) can you honestly say you would of said no? I can't and that's why I don't label all addicts as 'druggie scum' just like I wouldn't label all alcoholics 'wino bums' because once you've realised you've got a problem it's already to late. LUST Dissenters, 1. If you are a member and not happy about the way you are represented, either resign or challenge the leadership, either privately, or by attending one of the open meetings. 2. If you are not a member, please, please, please at least get your facts right before you moan the face off us all. What makes you think that you own the moral high ground? If any of you had taken the time to attend last night's meeting, or listen in online, you would have heard many things that would surprise you, and as my granny used to say, "put your gas at a peep". The board announced that they are in the process of putting together either a video or tape recording of the events of the last year, and announced that they are in a position to reveal much more factual information than they had originally expected. They also collated questions for the club, from the floor & the various online channels, that the club are committed to answer. And David Haigh called in to the meeting on speakerphone to apologise for not being able to attend the meeting, due to the fact that he was travelling. The club will be represented at all future meetings too. We also now have commercial experience on the board, as well as a retired senior police officer and serving senior military officer (based overseas atm, and representing all our LUFC supporters in the Army. I understand that Leeds has many more supporters in the army than any other club). So basically, I'm saying to you dissenters, either shut up & gie us peace, or attend the meetings, find out what's really happening, and debate facts rather than ill-formed opinions.

Become a members group in the real sense of the word. Annual membership for a token fee 50p or so, and prove you deserve the right to associate yourselves with the club never mind the fan base. If you want credibility earn it. Take the suggestion to your next meeting. Only one reason to not do it. You have no members.

They have over 8,000 members. It ain't just Gary Cooper and his pals trying to call the shots around ER, if LUST's member felt the same as you they wouldn't have over 8,000 of them. They'd resign or be challenging Cooper for leadership.

I met Ray Fell a load of times over the years and found him to be a sound bloke. I can't get into the discussion though regarding LUST because I have never had dealings with them and TBH I couldn't give a bollox..I only care about what's on the pitch and not all the politics off it.
Maybe they were an Anti Bates protest but been getting rid of Bates was agenda no.1 for a hell of a lot of Leeds fans when LUST was formed and LUST represented that and helped achieve that or are you still pretending Bates had a miraculous change of a heart for his retirement plans because of the nasty chanting by individual Leeds fans.
WTF are you talking about? There is a core membership who pay dues, including myself. Annual membership is £5. And who do we have to prove ourselves to?
