Brendan Rodgers wants FA to end season now 20:29 - Aug 28

"Rodgers Asks for ASeason to End Now"
27-08-13

Liverpool Football Club Press Conference prior to Europa League match, Saint Petersburg, Russia - 13 Feb 2013

BRENDAN Rodgers has asked the FA whether they can call the league quits while his team are in the top four.

The Liverpool manager hopes to qualify for Champion’s League football before the inevitable collapse in the forthcoming months sees them finish just above Sunderland.

Rodgers said: “We’ve no major injuries, we’ve not conceded any goals and none of the players has started a race riot so it seems a shame to spoil things by letting the season continue.

“Ending the season today will also see Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Swansea relegated, saving everybody nine months before that probably happens anyway.”

<whistle>

Good Wum <laugh> but on a serious note there should be a 4 week break when britain is at its most vulnerable weather conditions in the winter...<ok>

The issue with a mid season break is when do you have it Dec, Jan or Feb as we are likely to get or not get bad weather in all of those months. Not sure if 4 weeks is called for but maybe 2 weeks break but really for bad weather reasons. The lads have to top their tans up in Dubai for goodness sake :)

Who needs bad weather breaks, this is still a mans game right, i know we are starting to go down the route of it being a pansies game with some of the diving, but lets not take all of the fun out of it.

You know those ****ty rainy nights down the vetch, sliding tackles, mistakes, nights like those made football enjoyable to watch :)

Gents , I put this up as a wind up and never intended for posters to get a warning , we're all big boys (some bigger than others so I've been told <whistle>) but it has proved a point

they had better delete them and sharpish too......or the super mods will do it for them, I have to wait and see what happens..<ok>

Delete what ..... you calling me an idiot

Mods?Supermods? I have tried to make light of it and articulated a response well, but a bit of fairness please ! Surely its not one rule for Dai..

If I have erred, please point it out. Is it wrong to question? You however Dai, resort to insults and condescending posts as always. Move on and maybe listen to your own advice :)

You again resort to a threatening demeanour with your "or else" type posts.....why??

We need to know though ....just for the record, is it just scouse or are there any other soups Dai does not want to be associated with? Are Daicawl or Daimulligatawny ok?

We need to know this to prevent further "disciplinary" action under the long forgotten offensive foods act :)

cut it out project or i can see you heading for a ban. there is no need for name calling...you have been warned i won't tell you again...Mods take note...

I would actually like the quoted comment removed, it is strictly prohibited for a member to assert authority on here over another as that role is strictly for moderators only. Frankly, the person in question here is a bit of a disgrace and for the record that is not an insult, it is an observation.

Just incase, I think any reference to Dai (or anyone else) and a popular school dinner suet pudding containig raisins should also be banned along with any reference to the French chicken dish in wine.

Any more suggestions for the banned food list are welcome as it is in the forums interest to know what we cannot say :)
