Noooooo, if there is really a god he won't let it happen. I've watched this club and football for 50 years and I absolutely know he is what is wrong with this club and is a product of what is wrong in football today. Anybody who claims to be a fan and love this game must concede this truth. He got rid of any flair player this club had and filled it with ok good, but nevertheless workmanlike players. If winning at any cost is your credo then he's your man, but for me when I tell someone the club I support, I want to see the admiration in their eyes not pity.
Nonsense. That first title was won with breathtaking football. We destroyed teams and regularly tore teams to shreds. Just because we had a great defence this myth about defensive football arises. Would I let Jose shag me? That's not really my thing but I'd let him shag topdog.
Hey Zinc your right about the first season but then in the second season we began to see the his real colours, yes we had and still have to a large extent a great defence, but that wasn't the problem, there was a negativity about the whole team, we would try to nick a goal early on and then sit back and defend it (a tactic he has used wherever he has been amongst others but all primarily negative) when he was at last found out by RA, Scolari was brought in with the promise of new players and time to reshape the team (his words) but then I guess the clamour from fans only used to post RA days got too loud and he had to go. I must say than even now if teams give us lots of room to play we look as good as any side I've seen, but as soon as there is any pressure on players/ball we look like a championship side sometimes (no disrespect to them). As for him shagging me? Well I'm not into that either but he's so pretty I'm sure he takes it rather than gives.
I have said since the day jose left, we (the fans) would regret this decision for the next 50 years. Nothing that has happened since would lead me to retract that statement. Jose's image within the game seemed to me to be a perfect reflection of the club's within England. Brash, arrogant, and very full of ourselves. A match made in heaven. If we had kept him for another 5 years would united have won the 3 titles thay have done? Would we be struggling for form for a spell of 15 matches? I think that despite the accusations of "negativity" i know that i would rather see a succesful Chelsea than an unsuccessfull one.
You all seem to forget the way we were playing at the end of Jose's reign, and I believe it would have got worse. He was found out, the strong team that he built no longer seemed to be able to boss matches and the players he bought in the end were not great. I know some people think the Premiership is the best league in the world and it may have been once, but not now. We have great players plying their trade here but mostly they are not English and that has a knock-on effect for our national team, but that's another argument. In spite of what he won for this club, I don't think he was good for us although I recognise someone like him was necessary for us at that time.
Is this the same Chelsea side that were not great that went on to win the double three season's after he left?
