This is surely a WUM right ?

Worst in 3 yrs ? you have to be joking surely ?
That was a worse performance than Liverpool away last season ? hmmm ok ..... <laugh>

Yes. Because Liverpool weren't as bad as Spurs were today. Ditto Everton at home.

We can debate this all day but if you're 'proud'of the players after playing that badly when we played well against Man U but got done by some world class finishing I'm curious as to why, that's all.

I can't think of a single outfield player who strung more than a couple of passes together. Awful, awful, awful.

Proud? <laugh>

I have to honest im a little bit shocked as well, im totally surprised that some people think that was the worst performance in 3yrs !

It is Spurs away, can somebody remind me of the last Victory we had there in the premier league,or any other time for that matter...thought so <ok>

Expected to lose, NJ. Didn't expect to be that pants! Even the commentators were questioning what had happened to us!

We were pants, jdg shouldn't have started that game, why he's been selected over Leon or Ki I don't know.

In relation to the penalty I can imagine the ref going into the spurs changing room and apologising for f'ing up by not giving them a penalty and next time they are n our box just fall over so he can make up for his error

Well done today lads!

You gave Spurs a very tough match, which could have gone the other way on a different day.

Keep playing like that and you'll be fine this season.

KJ - why do you keep misrepresenting what I said RE the Manchester united game ?

Please read my OP on the subject, but if you cant be arsed and decide to keep misrepresenting let me just give you my player ratings for that game so we can all be clear <ok>

vorm 7
davies 7
Ash 6
chico 6
rangel 6
britton 6
dyer 7
canas 8
michu 7
shelvey 7
routs 6

Pretty fair assessment of that game and not the "merciless criticism " that you painted <ok>

I also pointed out that our subs played fantastic, namely Pablo and bony :)

I have to be honest and say that im frustrated as hell about this game though I hold no grudges towards the Spurs more with the ref who I thought was overly harsh on us. I think we had 4 yellow cards !!...<laugh>

good luck for the rest of the season, I don't see you as being as much of a threat without Bale but its fair to say you still have some top quality to come into that team yet and the bench for you is pretty awesome! defoe and siggy not in the first XI !!

you have to blame the manager for that the same as why he never selected bony and played players out of position..perhaps he thought that as bale was not playing he could rest players for our euro match..<laugh> WRONG

wigan 3-2 that we had the ref on our side that day..WOW <laugh> we have been very poor since the middle of last season so beating a side that nearly everyone beat and are now in the championship is our sign that we are on the up..<laugh> nearly everyone said we would beat man utd <laugh> the spurs game was there for the taking with the loss of bale and we blew any chance we had fielding a side that hull could give us a good game. everything was wrong from the choice of players to the tactics to the positioning of our players to ever give us a chance of matching them let alone beat them....

For the record, before we beat Wigan we drew 0-0 with Man City, lost to European Champions Chelsea 2-0 (A) and drew with Southampton (H) and Norwich (A).

Eight losses on the trot? I don't think so. <doh>

i'm always right...<ok> stop changing the subject and admit we got it wrong today with selection and tactics. why play michu as striker and leave a £13 million striker on the bench. I don't think that is good managing by any stretch of the imagination....I'm willing to give laudrup a chance but he is carrying on from where he left off last season and that is strange oddball management decisions.....He had better sort it out or he will be out...Its not good enough....
