hahaha .. City missing only one player at the back and they lost to Cardiff .. you have to admire how UTD finished level points with city 2 seasons ago despite our injury crises and losing Vidic for most of the season..
Don't normally look, just interested to see what they had to say about the match. Nothing it seems, but then as they are the most dedicated fans in the world they may have all been travelling back from Cardiff.
Spurs for top 4 anyone, so far they have signed: Paulino Chadli Soldado Capoue Lamela Chiriches Eriksen_ great player why we never went for him god knows
Eriksen, a fine player but not the kind we need at the moment. We need some steel, otherwise we'll just get bulldozed by the likes of Munich and Dortmund and City and.......
Thought you were talking about Chelsea for a second...except their strategy is 6 defenders 4 midfielders (3 after a red) 0 strikers...
So the transfer window is closed. Which of our rivals have strengthened and who's going to be in the title race? City - they've looked lacklustre so far this season and they will miss Tevez but their manager made his signings early on and they'll bed in soon enough. Slightly stronger. Liverpool - we may not like it but they are definitely a stronger squad than last season. They've let some dross go and although I know little about their new signings they can only be an improvement on what they already had. Arsenal - they've bought an absolutely quality player in Ozil but have arguably strengthened the one part of the team that didn't need to be worked on. Marginally stronger. Spurs - obviously they've been the busiest and on the face of things have signed some good players but will they gel? Arguably stronger. Chelsea - they needed a top striker and a new centre half so they signed Eto'o, let Lukaku go out on loan again, and brought in more attacking midfielders who aren't as good as the players they already have. No stronger than last season. Verdict: it's going to be United and City battling for the title yet again which will prove tedious for the masses. If I was a betting man I'd back City.
