Is there anybody on here that actually knows one of the players?
I would be interested and I know it's not every bodies cup of tea about what the player diet is.

A full weeks diet, what do they eat the night before and on the match day and at what time?
    And drinks as well.

Please don't just say chicken and rice! :1980_boogie_down:

Gazzaniga tweeted breakfast with Jose and Gaston this morning with what clearly looked like the remains of a muller corner yoghurt. Gazzaniga also had a little Mate cup, which is a sort of South American tea/coffee equivalent that i first saw in the Falkland Islands, to me it tasted utterly revolting!

Do you think they assign buddies to new players to make sure they integrate well? They did at one place I worked.

I think they, sorry Jos, assign themselves.

As you mention it...I've seen lots of clips of Dani with Gastón though.

They eat alot (about 50%) of their diet is carbs, pasta, rice, seeds, pulses etc. They also eat a fair bit of protein (20%)which is where the chicken comes in as it is pretty high in protein. Fruits and veg make up (20%) more of their diet, were fat is 10%

Porridge/fruit/ yogurt or wholemeal bread etc for breakfast.
Pasta or any meal high in carbs at lunch.
High on protein but still with carbs for dinner as protein helps muscle recovery.

Basically what I eat as I'm kind of a gym addict and high carbs builds bulk fast.

I walked past a girl photographing her breakfast...I think it just looks sad. Who the hell cares? Could understand if it was a wedding banquet...but a Sainsbury's breakfast!

Matt's weakness was/is chips. Just ordinary chip shop chips. He said on twitter the other day that he's never had a McDonalds in his life. Tiss only got "fat" once he was over 30 and people forget he's 6'1"

That's strange because in Taking The Tiss he mentions his penchant for Maccy D's breakfast.

Me too. I just have no idea how to get the 'bulk' to stay where my ribs are; I think I may have some ribs missing as the bulk has slipped a bit.

Why don't you email the club so that you get a definitive answer..?

It's probably a secret TSS. One thing I noticed from the latest "Uncovered" video was that Rahdi Jaidi looks a lot slimmer these days. He obviously still trains to keep fit, but he doesn't need to maintain that massive bulk like he did when he was playing. I expect the Southampton FC dietetics department have a special jar of goodies for him.
