Ironically I believe one of the reasons for the transfer windows was to stop over-inflated fees being paid!
the transfer window is the best solution for everyone and all they need to do is modify it so it ends before the season starts in this country but can stay open for foreign players for a period of time...
I remember the days with out the transfer window, and I didn't like it. I look forward to when the window closes now and knowing this is our squad we have to support and no ones leaving and fully concentrate playing for my club. I do agree the window should closed before the season starts.
And that would work in European Law how exactly? UEFA and the FA would never allow it. Brussels would never allow it. You have European off seasons being at completely different times. It will either stay as it is, or we get rid of it completely. Just get rid of it, I say
who says they wont allow it, each country window can stay open until a few days before their season starts, what is so difficult about that.??? all we are asking for is for the clubs in our own country to stop trying to get players off other clubs in the same system when the season starts...its a no brainer..
Because the Scandanavian /Nordic/ Russian seasons start at a completely different time of the year.As such, every nation has a different pre-season timetable. Their windows are already at different times and we are already in this mess !! http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transfer_window
