And then we used it on 2008 as well...

Well, I saw it somewhere anyways.

The game is far from a sell out atm the RFL report. Strange as i thought egg chasing was big in Wigan and Hull. <whistle>

Will all the neutrals stay at home then ? :emoticon-0116-evilg

I'm a little confused by this, why would Hull FC fans not go to Hull FC to buy their tickets?

Maybe the same ones that go to Wembley each and every year and buy there tickets direct from the RFL.

It is strange as where have all the neutrals gone for the game ?

    A few reasons really:

Season pass holders had priority for the clubs tickets so those without a pass just bought online from the rfl (makes the pass holder priority pointless I know!).

You could pick your block and exact seat on the rfl site, with the club you could only pick the block.

Hull's tickets had to be bought in person or on the phone (both initially had large queues), so it was easier and more convenient, particularly for out of town fans to buy online.

There was no additional cut for Hull Fc if the tickets were bought from them rather than online so it didn't really matter who people bought them from.

I just had a look and bizarrely, it's says Wigan fans should buy there tickets from Wigan Warriors ticket office(with a link) and other fans should buy them from the RFL ticket site(with a link), no mention of the FC ticket office at all.

It's cheap though, £21 a ticket, or £79 for a family of four.

You can buy tickets and collect them at the stadium, but for some reason, they're no longer available to buy from the RFL.

Does the thick **** that wrote the banner realise they're suggesting the lights in Wembley are to be turned off when the last of the 13,000 get there. <doh>

    Is that apostrophe surplus?

A lot of FC fans and rugby fans go to wembley ever year regardless of who plays, and usually book tickets early in the season from the rfl.

I'm a city/FC fan and Saturday sickens me. I went to wembley in 2008 thank god, cos city lost 0-5 to Wigan. However, I am sticking with city this time, I can't contemplate missing our first game back.

But best of luck FC, I"ll have to record it and watch it at 5.30 pm
