<laugh>..Not far wrong Blue..Buick isn't progressing as was expected and is very weak in a finish...just my opinion.

Afternoon all,

Some great shouts on here - well done to all winners.

4:55 York - Coulsty 17/2.

Impressive on debut and hopefully show that here.

Fear the favourite, Venture Quest and should have a saver but won't! Hope don't regret.

Good luck all!

Those are my two against the field Ollie, but as Ventura is also in a double with Broxbourne, he's the one I REALLY want!

Christ,Kerrigan is having a shocker...28 conceded off the first 2 overs and not much better after..zero spin..what does Cook do..stick 5 fielders on the boundry at 11.45am on the first day of a test...unimaginative and defensive captain..thats why we lost to SA and they are world No 1...this Aussie team is poor and could easily have nicked this series..

Can someone confirm for me that in the bookies benefit races -

A - A well backed horse won the sprint
B - 2nd favourite won the next? Also well backed
C - the first six home in the last handicap all started at 12/1 or shorter?

Whilst -

A - Did an outsider win the juvenile race?
B - Two strong favourites fail in the Juddmonte with the winner reversing form with Al Kazeem?

Gosh, with racing results like that, it makes me want to go to all these bookies benefit gigs.

Of course Broad should have 'walked' in that first Test, but I find this Darren Lehmann nothing more than a **** stirrer of the first water. In this particular Australian squad he is probably the only bad loser. England have been lucky in many respects, but the Oz team have put in one or two woeful performances, let's not forget that. This England team has started to puzzle me, and, at the moment, I rate Australia favourites to regain the Ashes when the time comes downunder.

I didn't put it up because it was one of the few that got beat this month, but Fanshawe done it again today. Opened at 7/1 and went off 7/2, If so - 5:50 ling.
Now that's his last 6 runners winning. 8 out of the last 9. And 12/17 for the month.

Tomorrows only runner is Wall Street Boss in the 8:50 Wolverhampton. An unraced maiden. No prices yet but i'l be on.

BTW not trying to after time, i didn't back his runner today. Just highlighting the trainers form.

I wonder whether the Tizzards might have No Woman No Cry ready to go in at Newton Abbot tonight? A run of poor efforts have seen his mark tumble to 85 but 3 of his 4 victories have come at Newton Abbot and tonight might be the time to catch him again. 8/1 looks a decent e/w prospect.

Given the good record of the Crawford yard in bumpers, I've been tempted into a little e/w dabble on Little Miss Betsy at 50/1 in the last at Bellewstown - wouldn't need to be a superstar to get involved here.

I am glad for anybody that is cleaning up at York. Personally I never backed a thing with three pattern races where there was no guarantee of pace (granted after the fact we know that two of them were run very fast on the fast ground) and by Saturday night you will be complaining about the handicaps.

That “well backed winner” in the sprint was 7/1 and I think it was third favourite, whilst the two market leaders, whose prices contracted in the betting shows as they were backed, ran for the bookies.
