I think there's three songs. How about Enigma and Sadness (Part 1) sung in Latin and French and a number 1 hit?

Ooh, i didn't know about this one.

The two I had in mind were Gaude Te and Pie Jesu. They were only sung in Latin. So Frenchie and Theo can fight it out for the next question.

I am far too old to fight my way out of a paper bag, let alone take on Theo. ;)

I will give you one to think about, although I am off to slumber land shortly.

What started it's life in Chelsea, moved to Watford, and is still there but in a different location?

Beg to differ but Ave Maria was also a top 40 hit for Shirley Bassey in 1962; and a top 20 hit for Leslie Garrett and Amanda Thompson in 1993. Most definitely Latin.

I am out for some time so, if anyone gets the answer carry on without me. A clue if needed is that there is a musical part to the question.

OK I am back and it looks as if you need another helping hand. In my younger days it was associated with a Saturday. ;)

The question about the village of Flash set earlier was one that I genuinely know the answer to having been there on a motorbike tour of the Peak district but with that in mind... and at the risk of butting in....

What was 'special' about the New Inn pub, for it has not been quite so 'special' since 2003?
