What is the story with these two?

I can't even recall the last time diakite turned out for us?

As for M'Bia i thought he was fired up for the challenge, then lost the plot a bit and now i have no idea?

No rumours of anyone coming in for them or of the club loaning them out or releasing them

surely they must be considered to assist this year or have they just slipped down the back of Arry's sofa along with Luke Young?

Can anyone shed some light??

Agree totally with your post .................... I can only assume they have become wall flowers and reside at the main entrance at Loftus Road.

Diakite is allegedly injured and I assume M'Bia is one of those 'doesnt want to play for us' chaps. So it looks like both will be gone before the end of the sky sports sponsored transfer window.

Diakite is injured after knee op. Mbia has said in French press ... He loves the club but things have gone sour after Harold wants to say good morning to his players in English ...

Harold i am guessing has then said right get out Frogs.

Harold the destroyer and by the time the spin is complete... Mbia will be a villain like all the others and the real funny thing is our idiot fans bloody believe him ... I say gain good that we are playing well ...we have one goal BUT Harold will spend big time if we go up and will make Hughes reign look like pocket money. we will be signing players for 15M plus guaranteed

DT, give it rest with all the 'he said he loves the club' bullocks. No offence, but you sound absolutely ridiculous.

You been pushing this line with every single one of the high earners who have left this season - we all know you're a fantasist when it comes to Rangers but for Christ sake pull yourself together.

Rednapp has said Diakite is injured but free to go if anyone comes in for him. As for Mbia, due to the financial constraints of the Championship, he cant play as we can no longer afford him giving shirts away.

Stéphane Mbia set to leave QPR after being told to find a new club

• Cameroonian midfielder does not have an agent
• Sevilla and Besiktas have shown an interest

Stéphane Mbia is set to become the latest high-profile departure from Queens Park Rangers as they adjust to life in the Championship after the Cameroonian midfielder was told he could leave Loftus Road before the closure of the transfer window next month.

Mbia, who moved to the west London club from Marseille a year ago on a two-year contract, has yet to feature in Harry Redknapp's side in the second tier this season and has been told to find a new club. The 27-year-old, who is not represented by an agent with his lawyer working on his behalf, has attracted tentative interest from Sevilla and Besiktas abroad but would prefer to remain in England, having featured 29 times in the Premier League last term as QPR were relegated.

The utility player had previously been targeted by Everton while establishing his reputation with Rennes – he had cost Marseille an eye-catching £10.4m when moving to Stade Velodrome four years ago – and Fulham and West Ham United considered offers this summer. QPR are expected to waive a fee for a player who has entered the final 12 months of his deal at the club, as they seek to remove his salary from the books.

Redknapp has already succeeded in off-loading Christopher Samba, Djibril Cissé, José Bosingwa, Loïc Rémy, Esteban Granero and Park Ji-sung either permanently or on long-term loan deals, allowing him some leeway in the market to construct a team he believes will be capable of returning to the elite at the first attempt.

Was wondering the same thing about these two the other day. I had high hopes for Diakite. Thought he would be a great box to box player. Would willingly give him another chance if I thought there was anything between his ears.
Can't understand what's happened to Mbia either. Strange. Would have made a solid CB for us in either league but IMO should never be allowed to play in midfield again.

Diakite, injured or possibly mental problems? dont forget as soon as he arrived he could not play because he was 'homesick'. more needs to be done on assesment of players mental state before signing them for big fees and wages and perhaps include get out clauses. The Suicide programme showed the Northampton manager announcing Carlisle had flu rather than the truth. people in football sometimes treat the fans badly. dont forget it is the fans money that pays the players wages. We deserve honesty.

In English after one the friendly matches when Mbia scored he came out and said he wanted to stay with the club and get them back to the Premiership ... same thing was reported in France. FACT

At a press conference later Harold came out and said that some of the players weren't even speaking English so he couldn't even say good morning.... FACT ... again wake up mate but these things then get reported all around the world and so was reported in France and Europe. The global eyes look to this country for football. Reports in France said that Mbia was going to stay in England with QPR and help them back to the premiership. A few weeks then there was a French article that Harold who carries a lot of press in France and around Europe couldn't even talk to his players ... Yes Harold's quotes are always taken out of context yet the bugger still spins them and these stories are factual.

Husky I am just informing this thread about the facts. Of course stories are just stories but Mbia has gone quiet and Harold never so as far as to name names ... however it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out who has gone and who is left and Harold still barks out the same spin.

Diakite is injured and doesn't not want to play under Harold FACT

Mbia came out in the press and said he wanted to play for us after his first QPR goal FACT

Harold has got rid of what 19 players FACT

Harold said the thing about the French speaking players ... FACT he as far as to say that there were little groups etc ... IMO its his job to man manage that

Harold has got a massive gob FACT

Harold knows exactly how to spin the press and make it look like he is the innocent good guy ... he isn't IMO

Harold will build another high earning squad if he stays and IMO it will be more expensive than Hughes ... In fact I will stick a fiver on it

It's Mbia, not M'Bia. Hate to be pedantic. And it's correctly O Neil, not O'Neil, although lots of people spell it that way. Over and out.

Apologies, I wasn't aware the Grammar Sharia Police were in town.

It comes with the territory of following a team that employs Argentinians, Morroccans and the obligatory French lad here and there

Should a pedant be starting sentences with "And?" ;)
