Judging by the threads he started on the Cardiff, Hull and Chelsea boards, I think that the descriptor you're looking for is "drunk".
Fair enough making a thread for former players, but to single them out because they don't reach your inexplicably high standards is crass. So we can just slag them off?
There are lots of reasons why a player doesn't quite reach potential not settling in, not the right club, personal issues, management or simply they are not good enough. They do not deserve to be bad mouthed for it.
Anyway, lets concentrate on our current players. They're good!

Aaron Martin should be very proud of his few appearances in a saints shirt. Has always given 100 per cent and never really let us down. He was not an academy player but came up through the non leagues via Eastleigh and Salisbury so to get to the first team was one hell of an achievement. Still only 23 he could yet have a big future. The club has moved on at such a pace opportunities will be limited here but I hope he finds a new club when his contract expires next summer. Would do a really decent job at championship level and given how Monk and Cranie both made it in the premier league eventually, he should still be ambitious.

Gareth Bale, at Spurs at the moment, fell down the pecking order, didn't play last game, things not looking good, probably going to join some mickey mouse outfit in spain, only memory I have of him is that really odd black with red sleeve away kit we had in that Championship era, he's a left back/dead ball specialist (poor mans danny fox), plays in attack at the moment for spain, shows how **** he is really, strange ear shape/size, the face of some energy drink company at the moment, sold him for a few mill, don't know how we ripped off spurs for that much, didn't bother with release clause cos he'll be sold on for a few grand, Welsh

Given that he's still at it, you might want to put in for a dry-out period before he goes and ensures that it's permanent.

To be honest Schad, I'm not too bothered. He can hang himself if he wants. We've welcomed a few new faces over the last week or so.
