What a ray of sunshine!! Fcuk me, when last has he said or written anything positive? I struggle to listen to his commentary most days, he sounds fcuking depressed.

His column is just as awful. You'd swear there was only one team in it, claiming last 15 minutes only Wendies looked like scoring. What was he watching? Leeds pressed just as hard, and in fact Wendies attacks were sporadic and on the break.

FFS Eddie!! Yes, you are a legend, but get a grip man. You have the opportunity to paint our club in a positive light, so do it. Bates is gone, you can say good things now.
 
I personally feel Eddie states things as he sees them and in many ways he is saying the same as most of us feel. The players we have are not the best but they should be doing better. Saturday's game was dire, we didn't look anywhere near good enough against a very poor Sheffield Wednesday, so why try to lie and make everyone feel better, when the facts are obvious. I'd rather hear the truth than ****e.
 
Not lie, but at least be more positive. He only tends to see the bad. Thing is, as the voice of Leeds United I'd expect him to big up our club, lots of positive PR. This can have an influence on our players and fans, and also potential new signings. Who wants to play for a club where all you hear is doom and gloom? Fcuk man, we've had far too much of that for ten years, time to shine a light.

Fair point, but Eddie is a Leeds man, he supports the club not just acts for them, he gets angry with some of the performances as we all do, so in the heat of the moment he says what he feels, I personally prefer that.

I doubt you saw him play often, if you genuinely think that. He was a fine player, not the forceful cutting edge of a Lorimer, but amazingly skilful. He could past people as if they did not exist, a talent few players possess.

To be honest, your comment just shows you up for the wum you are. See that space you are standing in? - its wasted.

You clearly don't know what you're talking about, TC. If you knew anything about the Scotland team in Eddie's day, you would not call them piss poor - especially out on the wings!!
