It can be logically assumed he was apologetic as everyone appears happy about the situation, and it would hardly be sensible to go gloating to the public on Rodgers part saying anything about it, does that make sense?

It's bad enough that you try win debates by supplanting the actual topic with a weaker substitute so you can refute it which is one of your primary bitter tactics, for example, I said Swans defended poorly and you come back with an argument that RvP's finishing was good when I didn't even talk about his finishing of the chance

And your whole market value argument was just

If you had half a brain, you might have made the correlation between Rodgers refusing to ellaborate on the point - given that he'd said it was what HAD to happen before he could come back into the fold......if he'd have apologised I'm sure he'd have made the press aware that his will won the day. The fact that he never spoke volumes, they reached an agreement behind closed doors. Although this is the 'Suarez-News' thread you have a valid point Diego, when Suarez's ban is up you'll see whether our players are all over Suarez like a rash after a goal/assist compared to Rooney, i reckon Suarez will get an opposite reaction to Rooney.

Who are these top players of whom you speak? As far as I can see you have senior citizens in Evra, Vidic, Fredinand and Giggs who are well passed their best. Van Persie is still at the top of his game and de Gea shows promise of being a top keeper. The rest I'm afraid are really journeymen.
