this is what we all asked for (PULIS OUT) so stop complaining it will come good. Get behind OUR club and it will come good. Lets not be negative just beacause we lost against liverpool at anfield that would be ridiculous. We have good players who are trying to eveolve as we wanted so lets not just give up on them. I am certain we will stay up if we keep trying to play like we did today

You're right Ric, we should get behind the team. Pulis has gone and we need to support MH. It seems that our performance today was much better than the away performances under TP. I guess that my initial response (see earlier thread) was disappointment that Walters missed that penalty right at the end which would have given us a valuable point at Anfield (and a goal!!). I want Stoke to win every game, that's not going to happen, of course, but at least we seem to have given it a good go this afternoon.

I was at the game and the simple fact is. Liverpool were better than us.
That said, Huth hits the bar, we TRIED and at times played very well IMHO. YES we gave the ball away but, MH?? I could see what he's trying to achieve if no one else can.
Would love to have seen Pennant start and as for Walters... For God's sake Mr H LET someone else take the pen's eh! We all could see it happening and it happened.
YES it would have been slightly lucky if we had drawn. BUT to lose only 1-0 AWAY at Anfield is not the end of the feckin world is it! Liverpool could have scored more WE could have scored at least twice before walters missed.

Look on the Brightside F F Sake guys, a few seasons ago we would have just parked the bus, we didn't do that today. Liverpool will not lose many at home if any playing like they did especially 1st half.


As a side note. ME yes Pott's will be on the telly on Monday night. Filmed boarding the coach home! Look for the last guy in the Red n White's who say's. Unlucky lads that's what I think I said. BBC 1 Midlands today, Monday.
KTF one and all we're above the GOONERS, life ain't so bad is it.
 
MOTD gave it as 45% possession for us today, can't think of many away games when we had that, we created some chances and passed the ball to feet more than I expected so in all i'm happy with that.
 
We desperately require a minimum of at least 2 decent strikers. Crouch and Jones and even Walters need to go ASAP. I'd keep Jerome for an impact sub.

I cannot believe the main problem we have had the past few seasons of not being able to score as still not yet been addressed.

Didn't go today as I was working in Derby, we had the game on the radio though. I said to my mate when I heard that walters was stepping up for the penalty that he would miss. No way should he ever take another spot kick!
