Baker Street - Gerry Rafferty, absolute genius, shame never saw him live.

Saw Queen as the backing band to Mott the Hoople at the Colston Hall Christmas '72 or '73 - brill even then.

I saw all of these live in the 50's through to the 90's
Buddy Holly live at Hippodrome 1958, Eddy Cochran on the evening before he died, Ricky Nelson, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, The Everly Brothers, Bobby Darin, Duane Eddy, The Big "O" in March 1963 on the same show with The BeatlesJerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Brenda Lee, Bobby Vee, Del Shannon and Bo Diddley.

But like everybody else this side of the Atlantic, I never got to see the greatest of them all. EP from Tupelo, Mississipi.

Yeah love Dance music, grew up as punk ! But now right into my dance. Took my 20 year old daughter to an all night rave. Dont think many guitar bands have it compared to the oldies. Best gig I have been to recently was David Guetta, got right down the front. Have to say though I saw REM about 12 years ago and they were fantastic

    Guetta? meh....

Try some original Detroit Techno by the likes of Juan Atkins, Kerry Chandler, Carl Craig or Derrick May.

Or Van Dyk, Carl Cox, Underworld, Simian Mobile Disco, Roger Sanchez etc - now that's what I call a rave!

I like all music it depends what mood I'm in for it, seen Lisa Lashes she is hot so will give you that one Raver, but I'm not a dancer so not really into raves.
I think I like most of the artist in some bits that have been mentioned. But my favourites are U2, The Killers, Coldplay and I love Pink Floyd. If I'm in aggressive mode when driving its a bit of Faith no More, Mettallica AC/DC Iron Maiden and Rush. Anything with a huge chunking guitar rift gets me all the time, there was this Rave song with Eddie Van Halens guitar rift in it that I loved but can't remember the name now.

What I don't like is artist that sound ok on production tracks but they can't sing to save their lives live or they ****ing mime they should all be shot.

Cheers bud but gigs and stuff aren't really my thing. There is only a few I would want to see live, Top of the list is Tinie Tempah

Nothing better than when a quality song comes on when your driving and the suns out! When Suit and tie first came out I used to have that blasting.
