None of the England team would get anywhere near a World XI team. Baines would probably be our best shout. Vastly underrated.

The only one who would have in the past decade is Ashley Cole.

Does George Boyd have a chance to get on? Or has something happened to him?

England could and should have had 4 or 5.

Get in England. Probably should have won that comfortably in the end though.

Baines MOTM. Good games from Walcott and the Ox. Real happy for Lambert too - I predicted him to score the winner as well.

Not a great performance, but we did what we needed to - beat the jock bastards.

    Where's Brady the jock gone?

Taking the lead twice means **** all if you lose.

If anything, it makes it worse.

Also, why is everyone saying Brady went off on the 46th minute? He went off in the 60th minute as part of a triple substitution!

If any team should be worried, it's Villa - Benteke came off with a bad injury apparently.

Both the BBC and Sky feeds say he came off in the 46th?

It was the 60th minute, i'm sure.

Anyway, coming off right at half time is usually put down as the 46th minute. A typical occurrence in friendlies.

If he were injured would we have not heard a little more from city sources?

This is off the BBC feed:

    2051:
KICK-OFF- Wales 0-0 Republic of Ireland
And Wales get us back up and running in Cardiff. James McClean - who was superb for Wigan in the Community Shield on Sunday - is on at the break in place of Robbie Brady.

    See? Nowt to worry about.

I'll admit I was wrong about the 60th minute though.

There was a rumour going round twitter that he'd broken his leg.

No idea how it started, but everyone (including Barton and Hamann amongst others) jumped on it. Turns out that's all it was... A rumour!
