None of the England team would get anywhere near a World XI team. Baines would probably be our best shout. Vastly underrated.
England could and should have had 4 or 5. We might be ****e but we were still far too good for England B. Now where has that ****ing idiot Brady gone?
Get in England. Probably should have won that comfortably in the end though. Baines MOTM. Good games from Walcott and the Ox. Real happy for Lambert too - I predicted him to score the winner as well. Not a great performance, but we did what we needed to - beat the jock bastards. Where's Brady the jock gone?
Also, why is everyone saying Brady went off on the 46th minute? He went off in the 60th minute as part of a triple substitution! If any team should be worried, it's Villa - Benteke came off with a bad injury apparently.
It was the 60th minute, i'm sure. Anyway, coming off right at half time is usually put down as the 46th minute. A typical occurrence in friendlies. If he were injured would we have not heard a little more from city sources?
Aye think it was half time, the crap text commentary made out he had a problem or something bruce didn't come on for norn iron in their win
This is off the BBC feed: 2051: KICK-OFF- Wales 0-0 Republic of Ireland And Wales get us back up and running in Cardiff. James McClean - who was superb for Wigan in the Community Shield on Sunday - is on at the break in place of Robbie Brady. See? Nowt to worry about. I'll admit I was wrong about the 60th minute though.
There was a rumour going round twitter that he'd broken his leg. No idea how it started, but everyone (including Barton and Hamann amongst others) jumped on it. Turns out that's all it was... A rumour!
