It's a shame they cut the video off just before Jim White's reaction. I bet he was in hysterics!
 
I can't remember where the conversation about good looking players was, so i'll continue it here.
This subject came up while i was watching England last night while boring the girlfriend with Spurs talk. I mentioned Scotty was leaving and her response was "oh, but he's the good looking one". So for a female perspective on things i loaded up some pics for critique. Of the ones i can remember:

Dawson - Ok
Walker - yeah he's alright
Lloris - NO!
Vertonghen - Looks like a child molester, small eyes
Sandro - <just laughed> (it was the new look Sandro)
Soldado - ok from the front, not so much profile

Chadli/Dembele/Paulinho all got dismissed but not harshly. She already knew what Defoe/Lennon/Bale looked like. Bale "isn't bad looking".


So, basically Walker was the winner and Lloris/Vertonghen (the 2 picks from the conversation on the board) came out last.

Ironically, Lloris' other half is head and shoulder above the rest of the squad'ses'
 
Some years back in talking to one of my daughters about football she said she did not support Spurs but Newcastle. On enquiring how this could be as she could not even find it on a map she said that David Ginola was gorgeous and that was why. So when we signed him and I said that presumably she could now return home to Spurs she announced - oh no he is too old now - but Michael Owen has a very cute bum so I support Liverpool. I gave up on her !!

My wife thinks Bale is really ugly - is he?
 
I've heard some girls say he is quite attractive. An odd one. There's no denying he is slightly ape-like, perhaps it's animal instincts which attract the ladies...
