The minute the Tartan Army started to boo God Save The Queen last night I was reminded why I support England and not Scotland. The disgusting jeers could be heard very clearly and were a clear indicator of the anti-English and anti-British nature of the C-U-Jimmy battalions.
I am left wondering if all those who plastered London with their “Yes” stickers would have refrained from booing. After all, retaining the monarchy is a big plank in the separatist manifesto. At least openly…

The irony of the kilted hordes descending on London decrying both the Union and its monarch will not be lost to students of history. For it was a SCOTTISH monarch who first dreamed of a Union between Scotland and England and who began its implementation.
James VI and I was actually regarded as a madman for floating the idea of Union. It used to be a common thing for countries to share monarchs while retaining independence in many ways. King James found very stiff opposition from both Scots and English people to his concept, particularly the Westminster Parliament.

Some believe that James saw himself as fulfilling biblical and prophetic destiny in seeking to unite the Britannic nations into one United Kingdom. Of course full political union would not actually transpire till the Act of Union in 1707 but the Union began with the Union of Crowns and the introduction by James of the Union Jacobus flag.

It could thus be argued that Scotland initiated the Union and that our monarchy is very much Scottish in terms of ancestry and history. I have mentioned before that Scottish separatists do not want us to separate from the mythical bogey man of English domination they have created; they want to separate us from ourselves. These truths are not likely to penetrate the thinking of the cretins who went south to vent their hatred under the guise of supporting a football team, however. And as for the handwringing apologists, manpleasers and fence-sitters who moan to me about keeping politics out of football, tell it to the Tartan Army.

As for the game itself, I thought Scotland started both halves well and deserved the lead at 1-0 and 2-1. In the end, though, England proved their superiority by stepping up a gear to fight back and win the game. It can’t be denied that Scotland played decently for about 70 minutes and the English had to work to get the result.

Gordon Strachan has already shown he has and will improve this Scottish team, although defensively they still look vulnerable. The English goals definitely highlighted the need to stiffen the defence. Strachan was obviously disappointed that his team couldn’t hold out after taking the lead twice but it will be England team boss Roy Hodgson who will have less positives to take from the match. I am possibly fitter than Wayne Rooney looks right now and on the whole England looked quite stuffy and flat. In the end, though, they are better than Scotland and Ricky Lambert’s Butcheresque header sent the kilties home to think again.

Let’s hope next year’s referendum is an even more emphatic defeat for the Yes men and women from Scotland.
There has been a great reaction to my book on the Red Hand so readers may like another book I have written on the Mysteries of Britain called The Key Of David. The book looks at the origins of the British Throne, including Scottish and Irish roots. It also looks at the destiny of this Throne and of Britain.Every Unionist should have a copy and every separatist should read it. Get it here.
