I usually like threads that can resolve something, but I appreciate that, with days to go until the new season, supporters are desperate to talk about anything football. As far as Saints are concerned I know Micky Channon is still a Saints fan. Francis Benali, Nick Holmes, Steve Moran. Matty wasn't, but certainly became one, as did a few other players like Mark Dennis. Surman is, I believe. Lambert is fast becoming one, although I'd still put him down as a Liverpool fan. Of course, the numero uno Saints fan is Terry Paine. He has never stopped referring to Southampton FC as us. I think that's why he was recognised as a worthy Honorary President. And lest we forget, our recently departed Ron Davies was another convert. That's my brain cleared out for the moment. Oh, and Cornwall was nice. EDIT: Forgot that Lallana is/was an Everton fan, although these days that may not be true, as he wants to stay with Saints until the end of his career.
I've got more balls than he had. When it gets tough you won't find me hiding nor will I wear black woolly gloves when it gets a little cold.
Can't play LB. So right-footed, I fall over if I try to kick with my left. This is my bike riding nightmare all over again.
Fran and I will just swap positions once the match has started just to confuse the opposition and to ensure that we both remain standing when we go to kick the ball.
