We were linked a few weeks ago. He won't cost a lot and he'd be a good addition. He's not in France though, so doubt we're interested.

He started with 8 goals in 9 games for Arsenal, then got dropped when RVP got fit. I honestly couldn't guess how he'll do this season, but if he plays anything like he did when he was at Bordeaux, then they've got a great signing on a free.
 
Matej Vydra has joined West Brom for £8m.



Better spend of £8m than Dwight Gayle anyways...

From what I've read West Brom fans are pretty pissed off with yet another loan signing, they're annoyed with Anelka too who they think is after one last payday. They seemed to think they were in for Lukaku but missed that one & now seem to think that if Vydra does well, then they won't get him either.

Luiz Gustavo wants to move to Arsenal from Bayern Munich because he wants regular first-team football. Arsenal have put a bid of £17m in.

Crystal Palace are stepping up their interest in Darren Bent. They want him on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal, IF they stay up next season. Fulham are also in the running.

Fulham may make a move for Troy Deeney. Both them and West Ham scouted him at Watford's 6-1 win over Bournemouth, where he scored a hat-trick.

QPR have made a second bid for Tottenham's Scott Parker.

Peter Odemwingie's move to Dubai is off, as Al-Nasr ran out of patience with the amount of time it took for the deal to be done.
