Depends where you are really - after a hard day's slog in the Queensland sun, nothing - repeat, nothing - beats an icy Fourex..... :)

    Was Watneys the right answer?

Had a very good holiday on Lesbos perhaps 30 years ago now. No bank in our little place so I had a wallet full of drachma and managed to lose it on a remote beach. It was handed in to a local police station the same afternoon, still stuffed full of cash. The Greek couple who handed it in were most offended when I offered them a reward. We slipped into Turkey off a small boat and bought cheap leather jackets and some jewellery which was sold by weight rather than design. Happy days...

Well done Yorkie, go to the top of the class sir...

I saw a great programme on BBC4 about Aristotle and his Biological investigations on Lesbos a few weeks - totally fascinating.

Point of order here - Alcmaeon's work pre-dates Aristotle's by around 130 years - in fact Aristotle used him as a reference in some of his work....:(
