Worse than crap. Thank god I had to go pay as you go this year instead of forking out 475 large for a season ticket. Absolutely the same issues as last year. Gower is crap. Sordell is talented but lazy and stroppy. Yann looks like he has been on a mars bar diet. I'm Green's biggest supporter and always want him in the side but he was ****e today. Only pass marks go to Dervite. What makes it all the more frustrating was how we tried to play on Tuesday night. I know it was only Oxford but we played great footy to feet. Back to league duties and our first team and we are utter gash. Not slitting my wrists yet but this will be a relegation battle. Poor crowd too even allowing for folk on holiday (regardless if what fuctitious number is declared). Keep this up and they will be leaving in droves.

The worst for me was seeing what Watford did to the Cherries. Puts last weeks result in perspective. Still, at least Typical should be happy.

Or Bournemouth had a day today as bad as we have?

our players were still on their summer holidays going by today. pedestrian at best.

my game plan for the first two games of the season would have been to hold on for draws while players get to know each other. we just look like we have no game plan at the moment

Ken I am happy, I have learned in life that nothing comes on a plate, except sausages and lasagna and perhaps a few other dishes and a chef I know in West Kingsdown.

Two games lost, it's hardly the apocalypse!

I never for a moment imagined it was the end of the world. It was just that we were all recently discussing what sort of season we all enjoy, and what we've had so far is very much your récipe rather tan mine. (I was hoping for the sort of results Watford conjured up yesterday and an early charge into top spot!)

I can't do match analysis, post mortem or offer anything more than what has been offered so far, the midfield is paperweight and the team are playing like strangers. CP will get it right or more likely fall through circumstance into the correct formation. 10th is still very much on the cards!!!

I think its what disappointed me most about yesterday... On tuesday night we played a quick passing tempo, it may have been against Oxford but it worked.

Yesterday from the off we didnt even try to pass the ball quickly and Middlesbrough closed us down quickly (credit to them and their work rate) - This was surely obvious 70mins into the match so cant understand why Gower was dithering on the edge of the area almost waiting to lose the ball.

People may have said that after his sending off against Bournemouth, Pritchard wasnt good enough for this level but after that performance... I see the likes of Pritchard and Jackson as the glue that holds the Midfield together and when they're not playing... we're that!!

Although Wiggins had a poor game I would keep him rather than Evina, apart from that couldn't agree more with that side.

4-3-3 is risky, especially when our midfield is our weakness and seemed over un, but Dervite and hollands are very good at breaking up the play so would certainly have them playing.

Yep, that is the hardest decision for me: Wiggins or Evina. But from what I have seen through pre-season and the first three matches, I would just about plump for Cedric.

I believe a side should pick itself through current form, which is why I found it surprising that Church was starting on the bench.

I would continue with Wiggins for now as our Defence was stronger last year with the continuous back four / I dont want Wiggins feeling like he wants to move what with the transfer window still open...

Saying that though if his form doesnt improve then I would bring in Evina (and hope it has the same effect on him that it had on Hamer when he was dropped for a few games)

Likewise for me leaving out Church after he scored two good goals against Oxford sends out the wrong message to the Strikers - I know he hasnt had as long a pre-season but I would have thought it was the other way round between him and Sordell watching on that basis yesterday

Couldn't make it to the match on Saturday but followed the action on the BBC and Sky Sports live text web pages. Both stated we had a penalty on 87 minutes which Morrison missed, is this true? No match report mentions this.

Nope not in the slightest bit true I'm afraid...

Although against Bournemouth last week the BBC text service did think we were playing at the Valley and that there were traffic problems for fans going to Southport v Luton (when the game wasnt even on that week)

How they waste £2m pa on Garry Lineker is beyond me?!!!
