You have the wrong information Sisu and I don't know who you got it from. I have been on not606 for 2 years, I think I deserve a bit more respect!Wenger : ehhh why do you look at me

he is a clown, only Fergie's walkout after being asked about under performing in europe just before they went out at the group stage was funnier

Not sure about that, Keegan's "love it" and Rafa's "fahkts" were pretty damn funny too![]()

rafa had a controlled moan. Keegan was on the Radio, and it was Keegan FFS
Fergie was boiling before a question was even asked obviously.
I have to say though, when he first came on the scene and Arsenal were winning, he was always getting right under Fergies skin and I loved that. Not sure what has gone so wrong ( even before they had to sell every year, they just seemed to hit that lull).
YOu think of all the players they lost and if they wree able to hold onto , they would have a pretty damn good team! Cesc, Nasri, RVP, Song, Cole, Toure, Eduardo ( although that injury ****ed him), Reyes, Clichy, G. Silva ( still think they miss that type of player), Edu. Again this kind of spans the years so maybe not all at one time.
Keegan was on Sky Sports he his track suit either before or after a game
Rafa's was controlled but it was still funny

It all changed when Roman's billions made there was to Chelsea. Arsenal (and more importantly Wenger) couldn't (or wouldn't) compete. Man Utd cam up with a plan to combat it; they bought expensive but quality youngsters. Arsenal didn't change.
Imagine Keegan as a hostage negotiator
I'd bleeding love it if you let those people go, love it
Rafa was right about a lot of what he said though![]()

Well, player quality has dropped and his brilliant management cannot fill the gap.
It always felt as those main guys got older, they couldn't find the correct replacements right down the spine of that team and still probably looking for a top GK, Strong CM, and goalscorer.
Wenger bought a new defense prior to "the invincibles". Lehmann too. He originally bought Petit and Viera (what a partnership that was) plus Henry, Anelka and RvP. He oversaw the likes of Cole and Clichy come through and bought quality wingers such as Overmars, Reyes (maybe not so good for Arsenal), Pires, etc. My point is, over his sixteen years at Arsenal, he has shown he is capable of finding gems for most positions, the only question mark that remains is probably RB but Sagna wasn't too bad at first.
Its all comes down to money IMO. He saw Chelsea / Roman spend a billion pounds and objected. Rather than continue within what would have been a acceptable (in football terms) inflation, he just stopped spending. Yes, he's had the odd flutter here and there such as Arshavin and Nasri, but its not been enough. Whether that is Wenger or the club (I suspect the former) I don't know, but they have the making to be a very good club if only they could shake off the spending shackles.
It has been that long now though that they need two or three top spending windows to catch up with Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea.

Agree with you on money but most of the players you named were there at the last trophy, I am talking about since then did he replace Henry ( for one season yes with RVP, just one season though), did he replace Viera? no. DId he replace Keown, campbell, kolo? no. GK since lehman? Always an issue! Still think he has missed the spine for the past 6 years.

Yeah he's been trying to make gourmet beef burgers with tesco mince. Granted the tesco mince may have been contaminated with some angus beef.
