As long as he's adequately replaced, I am really not arsed.

If they pay the 45 mill asking price we should sell, as we could buy two quality defenders for that price.

But if so, would need to be in the next week or two to give us time to find replacements.

No we shouldn't. There are no CBs on the market. A rejected bid from Barcelona is a massive statement as it shows we are on the same level of ambition as them and will not sell to such close rivals without a player forcing it.

Luiz must stay.

let's see who goes, Luiz, Bale or both of them!,nice to see your getting a bit of the "Bale " treatment, now you know how we feel.

Agreed, but only if that's what Luiz wants.

If he starts agitating heavily for a move ala Bale/Suarez we should sell (notwithstanding the fact he's not worth 45 million - no defender is).

You never know, but only a couple of weeks ago ,David Luiz, quoted in the Brazilian newspaper O Globo, said: "I do not like the rumours about me and the possible departure. I have a contract with Chelsea until June 2017 and do not want to talk to other clubs."

So looks like he is happy.
Unless Barca turn his head, and that would be quite a back track. Stranger things have happened though, just cant see it happening if Chelsea don't want to sell and Luiz doesn't want to go.

Bale and Suarez have the history of hinting at departing - Luiz doesn't. Very unlikely in my mind.
