The Guardian have said that Suarez approached them to do the interview. In addition, very sneaky of Suarez to wait until BR and the team are on their way to Norway!!
Of course, that is how he has always done things! Whether the team was away, he was in Uruguay safe from any English press, etc. Just a complete twat. Wouldn't be surprised if someone tried to floor him in Liverpool.
Arsenal transfer targets so far in this window have turned them down, Higuain, Bernard, Rooney, David Villa, Jovetic and a bloke called Nicolas N"Koulou from Nigeria who nobody has ever heard of. I think they are playing a dangerous game with Suarez, if Madrid come in for him late then he will be off to them and the Goons will be left with nobody. Wenger the peado will be back searching the French kids teams for vulnerable young boys.
Please release me Let me go For I don't love you anymore To waste our lives Would be a sin Release me And let me love again
Do not know why Arsenal are not willing to snub him.He actually wants to go to Real Madrid but they do not seem to be all that interested.
He's a great player, one of the best strikers in Europe for sure. For me though, he's like Carlos Tevez in the way he acts... seems to think the world owes him everything and protests when he doesn't get it. That said, if he has a 'Champions League' release clause in his Liverpool contract, then the bin-dippers have no one to blame but their own egotism. "Champions League you say? No problem Luis!" Still, £50m for Torres and probably the same for Suarez is pretty good money.
What would happen in a situation like utd triggering a release clause for Fellaini? Moyes would surely know how much to offer to trigger the clause so could he be 'cautioned' [or whatever they do in these situations]?
Because they have offered £40+1M which Suarez claims was the release figure. They still want him even though he may not want them. However they can't reduce the offer as Liverpool will then have complete freedom to tell them to go away. Also Arsenal do not know yet if Liverpool are going to refer them to the FA. As for Madrid, they will wait until the last minute. But they may have already decided that he's damaged goods.
Some questionable Suarez: Criminals Georges Suarez (1890–1944), French journalist executed for collaborating with the Nazi occupation Guillermo Suárez Mason (1924–2005), Argentine military official convicted of crimes in the Dirty war Roberto Suárez Goméz (1932–2000), Bolivian drug trafficker
So far Arsenal have made bids for Suarez and Bender and made enquiries about Fabregas and Rooney - so far that is the ONLY confirmed action to have beenmade. Everything else is press nonsense. In-fact half the players you mention Wenger hascome out and said categorically we are not interested in the players. As for the ***** comments - just grow up
Madrid have never shown any interest in Suarez at all and have still shown no interest at all. He was asked once in an interview if he would liek to play at Madsrid and said yes and thats where all that nonsense comes from. Arsenal are the only club in for him. I also dont think Liverpool will be trying to get Arsenal into trouble over this - too many reputations to be damaged.
Sums it up perfectly for me: ironically is this not the paper (one of them) he crawled to? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/liverpool/10227452/Luis-Suarez-claims-he-has-a-release-clause-in-contract.-Liverpool-say-no.-This-is-trench-warfare-football-style.html
