Lol: let's see do I believe the club who have switched stories a few times this window or do I believe the player who has switched stories a number of times this transfer window, scrap that has switched stories every time he's opened his mouth since arriving.

Well the players statement leaves me with a few questions.

    1) he could have left last year? Really LS: like you could leave this year: was that through a gentlemans agreement too or a contract that you had two years left on? Why sign the new one then? Why put the possibility of you being forced to stay when with one year left you would hold all the cards this summer?

    2) you were told you could leave? It's in the contract? Simple then, no argument so why the long drawn out process? Out of respect to the club? Give me a break: there's been nil respect shown to our club since the day you arrived? So put in the transfer request, show your written contract which you signed and see if a court will agree with you.

    3) you paid the club with goals? No pal we paid you to score ****ing goals. And then defended you through some atrocious behaviour and game after game where your sitting on the sideline means by your averages your so proud of we maybe just maybe dropped some points.

    4) you stayed to get CL? Really; you're the only one who thought that a possibility last summer. Nothing to do with a payrise then...

5)" arsenal were acting according to their understanding of Suarez contract"
Who stated that? Because that's tapping up. That's not a guess based on speculation that sentence states they knew his contract or thought they knew. Where's the fine if true. Go prove how they knew Suarez I dare you.

I want this ****er out of my club. I stated it during the biting incident and I'm as sure of it now. For the people defending him or at least doubting it was his words before: are you satisfied with that interview? Because apparently the mistranslation wasn't in the wanting to leave us but in wanting to leave the UK and its terrible media....according to this lying little bastard today anyway...tomorrow? Who knows....

So **** the PL, **** the PFA who wanted him hung drawn and quartered 2 years ago and left him out to dry but now they love each other: Lets show a court, put our cases forward and let it be decided.

Arsenal fans take a real look at this guy and start praying you (cough) I mean he loses the case because the goals he scores just aren't worth the trash the player is. Other than I'm an obstinate git I'm tempted to say take him & feck principal because I just can't see him lasting more than season one way or the other and I'd rather you face the consequences of whatever this mentally disturbed critter does next than us.

But now I want his career ducked as much as possible. I want to see him on the bench playing midweek rain against kids and 40 spectators. I want him to have plenty of time on his hands to be chased by the big bad press or to give interviews in any language he wants....

I'm not sure why you are all so certain that if there is truth in Suarez story that he would have just immedietly dragged you to court the moment the transfer window opened...

Why play your cards until you have to? Until a club of a certain standard came in for him there was no point making a fuss. Since then he has had a couple of weeks to look over his options and clearly his first action is this interview. I'm sure we will see more steps taken before we get a conclusion to the saga and he has clearly stated he feels he does have options and is willing to pursue different avenues to tryand get a deal done.

Now i'm not saying that he will take you to court, or which clause exists and which doesn't or whatever - just saying that you can't assume he has no leg to stand on just because your club isn't already in court.

Personally, I make my stance based on what I've been told by a friend who, so far, has been quite accurate on the rare occasions I get info. Not that this stands much ground with anyone else on the board, but couldn't care less about that <ok>

From another perspective, lets say you're right and he wants to keep cards to his chest. He's leaving it rather late if he wants to force through a move before the end of this transfer window. Court proceedings can take a long time to go through, making this either a bad decision for waiting so long, or a bad decision not do nothing about it.

Maybe he is confident it will be sorted before it comes to court proceedings though?

Also it's not that late considering there are still 3 weeks to go, plenty of time for things to change another hundred times over i'm sure :p

This is daft considering only one club came in for him & according to his latest ramblings all that mattered was CL football. Which that club has (almost)

We said no to both offers to that one club including one according to him was legally binding we accept. We then named a price he knew you wouldn't meet because he'd told you there was a clause. Why would you add ten million if you thought your last offer was binding? At that point court is only route left.

So he's still talking and not doing.

So instead of show me the money: show me the contract. Because he's apparently shown it to everybody else....

I don't understand. He asks us to keep our word, yet he doesn't want to play out a ****ing legally binding contract under which he earned 120k per week? **** him. Let him go to Arsenal, and when they're eliminated year after year, he can look their fans in the eye and demand to leave again.

I still say that bids under 50m should be rejected. The first one that's remotely worth what he is to us, tell him to **** off and let him go. It will be interesting to see how the Arsenal fans scramble to defend the very player that they have been calling a diver and cheat and despicable for the past few years.

Anyways, we move on as a club, hopefully we have some great signings lined up to replace him.

If he takes the club to court do you really think that's going to help him long term? If I was an owner of a club and had the chance to sign a player that had been banned for biting an opponent twice, banned for racism and then taken his club to court in order to get a transfer I'd think **** it, seems a lot of hassle for £50mil.

I don't think he's done himself much favour, should have just shut up and done everything in private and he could have left with all our blessing and appreciation of what he's done for us.

Your assuming the only option for him is to go to court, but without being close to the situation we have no idea whatelse is going on behind the scenes.

Let's all as LFC fans just take a second out, step away from this guy's self-made midden of **** and applaud ourselves for our reasonableness, dignity and unity when faced with even the most massive levels of c*ntishness it's possible for men who are fans of a ball being booted around on grass to face. We are what make this club great and although this swine is trying to undermine everything the club stands for he'll see that it's a greater force than one man, the tides of history will wash over his disgrace and wash away the stain he has brought on us but LFC will persevere and grow stronger. <applause>

Let's also all heed Buff's suggestion and give this guy his due by referring to him as the Pink Slime, any pre-existing replica shirts should be given a replacement shirt with this printed on the back.

What's all this about a club of a certain standard? What standard? Even Suarez does not say that this clause only related to CL clubs. It certainly can't be a moral standard as his comments (if true) clearly identify illegal behaviour between his 'people' and your club!

Now Suarez's contract is commercial property belonging to Liverpool Football Club. Their position regarding a release clause has not changed throughout this affair. I think that I will rely upon their legal advice.

He had already been banned for biting a player and taken one of his clubs to court before joinging Liverpool <ok>

If he is good enough there will always be a Manager who recons they have the man management skills to control him.

"Suárez is to loyalty what Eamonn Holmes is to hang-gliding" <laugh>
    Nice sig, Frank

Would be interesting to hear what this supposed 'promise' was that we made to him. Whilst we might have promised we'd let him go, I highly doubt that included letting him go for less than he's worth.

I think its too late in the window now, we wouldn't be able to find a replacement or we would waste money on a **** one! Its all pretty shameful from Suarez considering the support we have shown him, but he is and always will be a mercenary and has no loyalty to any club.

That being said letting him go now will show that the club is week and other players will then start to push for moves. I say we treat him like Tevez a similar mercenary stick him on the bench then sell him on next summer, OK we may lose some money on him but the club will be left in a stronger position.

Champions League standard. He clearly states he would only leave for a CL club. Therefor until a CL club made an offer for him there was no reason for him to kick up a fuss. I thought it was pretty obvious what standard i was talking about..

There is also nothign at all that indicates anything illegal.

Liverpool are now in a bad position. Even if they sell Suarez for 50m+ they know that top players aren't queuing up to join them.

**** this can't be the carroll **** all over, please have ideas BR and crew!!!

I think Diego Costa (previously Mkhitaryan) is supposed to be his replacement. Him & Aspas. Then the rest of the money to be spent on Papadopolous (sp?).
