I don't think TP is on this forum, so the only answers you'll get are like sgts, speculation.

I really don't know what Mr P meant when he said, it needs three years. Three years too achive what?
I'm not complaining here but, HAD we beaten Wigan, 9th would have been fantastic. O.K. we didn't but
I'm a lot more optimistic about "saying up again" than I was a few months ago!

But, didn't T.P. say that " we would then be able too attract better player's to the club"

PROVE me wrong again please Tony P, let's get three or four GOOD player's in this summer.
Then, we might just go places and I mean, top half with ease. I also heard him say.

We're not established in this league yet. So, like you Sgt I'm as baffled as the rest of the
    Stoke fans.

This seaon has been brilliant, to beat that next season will take some doing, and money of
course. Over to you Mr P and Mr C.

having over acheived this year next season will take a massive effort to go one better.A mid table finish would be the target and we will see what happens in the cup's .The biggest test for TP is can we get better quality that are happy to be on the bench

The three year plan would have come to some conclusion had we won the cup.

We have got better players than when we came up though, Shawcross has improved, Huth is great, Begs is better than Simmo, Whitehead is a solid player, Etherington is a million miles better than Cresswell, Jones is looking like he's getting back to his best, Pennant is probably better than Lawrence. We've just kind of lost sight of the steady progress with disappointments like the Tuncay saga.

No such thing as 3 year plan IMO. He just gave himself breathing room. In other words what he was saying is that we are a lot more likely to be relegated to the champiionship in the first 3 years until we had a more solid squad (which we have).

Hopefully part of the post 'three year plan' is to play a more positive approach away from home.
My fingers are crossed in hope anyway!.

When you got promoted no-one gave you guys a hope in hell of even finishing off the bottom let alone staying up (comfortably) for 3 seasons, the fact that your name is not even mentioned is the relegation candidates these days speaks for itself.

When you got promoted in 2008 surely you would have ripped my right arm off if i offered you the situation your in now 3 years on?

Exactly, and frustrating situations like Kitson and Tuncay not settling in, and some awful results and dour matches have clouded peoples' objective judgement a little.
