I'm just interested in finding out what everyone is going to be doing instead of watching the England match tomorrow?

Or has it got to a point where your struggling without any football already and will watch the match purely because its football?

Call me a traitor but i might only watch it in the hope we get beat!

Couldn't agree more mate. I know it sounds bad but my passion for England took a huge Nosedive after France 98 when the new Era of idiots starting popping up in the england team Like Terry, Cole, Gerrard, Lampard etc....... I used to love england years ago during the shearer/ Sherringham era and followed them just as much as i did spurs. Now i couldn't give a toss and certainly don't look forward to the games. I feel international breaks are a bore and ruin the prem season aswell. Spurs for me all the way.....

I think the majority of the country agrees with us Don, but the press still seem to think everyone cares <ok>

If im honest, i have never enjoyed international football, even as a kid when all my mates were wearing England tops and things, i never got anywhere near the feeling i get when i know Spurs are playing <ok>

Not to mention the current crop of England players hasn't helped as well...Terry, Cole, Lampard, Gerrard all gits <ok>

Oh well, its football and its on TV, so i will probably tune in <laugh>

I'll be watching it, just to see what Capello's got in mind, really.

Any idea of the likely line-up, yet?

I think we are going for the 4-3-3 again from what i have read, but i dont think it will last, things will change when Rooney is available again <ok>

Bent up top, with Young and Walcott on the wings?

Going to go and play for my own ancient team against another slow plodding team. Don't really give a toss about England anymore. Like to be interested but as soon as the same old names crop up I lose my interest. Terry, Cole, Lampard, Ferdinand, Barry Gerrard etc . When I get to watch some old England teams play I realize just how unimaginative and predictable these miserable mercenary ****ers really are. Perhaps that might be part of the problem with FA and the team in general they're just a pedantic dull corporation who have sucked all the enjoyment out of the national side

    Totally agree, NJS.

The friendlies really need a kick up the arse, for a start and I'd like to see the England B games return, too.
I've proposed it before, but I really think that picking a bunch of players that are inexperienced at international level and playing games in the Northern grounds would benefit both the players, the squad and the fans.
The manager could take a few risks, people that would never get to see an England team in the flesh get that opportunity and we wouldn't have players getting such a shock when they have to play in the first team.

Is it just me or do only fans of lesser clubs care about England these days.
