Next week will see the start of a new league campaign and for the first time in over twenty years I will not be in possession of an Ibrox season ticket . I was holding out to see what occurred in this months AGM and now it looks as if there will be an imminent EGM .

Last summer when D&P stitched us up by selling our assets to a wee Yorkshireman and a bunch of "investors" who are as faceless now as they were then I decided that was it for me . As far as I was concerned my club had went from the frying pan of Whyte to the fire of Green .

    I was not wrong .

However loyalty and love for my club saw me cave In bite the bullet and renew my ST a week before kick off . Not this time though .

Yesterday's appointment of Green as a PAID consultant just confirmed to me what I already knew . He and his equally grasping cronies Stockbridge , Smart , Easdale and Mather have a firm grasp of the reigns at Ibrox and Smith is powerless to do anything about it .

Green has returned for what hopefully will be his last pound of flesh from Rangers as the day before yesterday a letter demanding the removal of his lackies from the board was delivered to Ibrox and it's contents announced on the stock exchange .

Jim McColl with the backing of a good few private and institutional investors are looking to clean house . If this happens then Rangers could be finally free of yhe shysters that have done so much damage over the last couple of years .

If it doesn't happen they will never see another single brass penny from me .

I was quite heartened by the news that chuck is returning, purely for the comic value. This can only be bad news for bears.

Totally understandable Aldo and it would seem Barry Ferguson agrees http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/barry-ferguson-best-interests-rangers-2119606 The problem is Green and his cronies count on supporters loyalty as in the scenario you describe. I haven't got a season ticket, but fully intended to get along when I could. I probably still will out of loyalty to the team, but I applaud your sentiments.

I can't believe this garbage has started again just when the team looked like they were getting it together. This constant turbulence helps nobody at the club. Hopefully McColl and co will succeed this time.
