But are we ready? We need one striker at least and if Crouch goes perhaps another one. I would be happier if Mr Hughes was a little more active in the transfer market instead of all the rumours.

I agree we need a new striker, maybe 2, but I'm glad were not rushing into anything, we don't wanna do a QPR!

There are so many changes since last season, starting with a new manager, so I think its a bit premature to make such a prediction Peter. I am Stoke City through and through and like others I want to get the show on the road but I would like to see a little more action in the transfer market instead of just words.

That is not an opinion, it's a fact.

Problem is, without a striker (s).scoring goals, we may end up like QPR anyway.
