HBIC, you seem to know the answer to just about anthing, can you possibly help me with my computer questions above please mate?

First and foremost, you need a Steam account to play FM12 onwards, so if your laptop doesn't have an internet connection you can pretty much forget it.

cheers GP. how difficult is it? I remember championship manager becoming insanely hard about 10 years ago when I was finishing school. Loads of my mates and I ha the game but just kept getting sacked. Is it still the case? - It wasn't playable as it was so bloody difficult.

Also, my laptop only has a 1.86ghz dualcore processor (I know, I need to get a new one), but the requirement is a 2.2ghz. I don't buy PC games and I've read that having a processor that's too slow can cause games not to work. is this based more on online games with insane graphics? Will something like football manager be ok, even if it runs slow? surely a load of screens with just text and a few images can't require the latest technology?!

sorry if that's a bit geeky, but thought you guys might know as you buy these games yourself and have to consider this <ok>

Lol, did you mean that to be a joke? very subtle spurmey <ok>

I'm not going to say that I even know what half those terms actually mean, I'm a history student, and I'm so into it that i may as well be Amish, but as far as the game goes, it might be safer if you were to torrent it first, try it, then buy it after you're sure it works. If we're sticking to the straight and narrow, you can limit how many leagues are running in game to say, just the Premier League, and reducing the graphics down to 2d.

Well as for f.manager 12, my laptop is sweet, other than the processor being slightly slow.
f.manager 13, is the same, except it requiresan even faster processor.

I have a steam account aswell. <ok>

cheers for the info, appreciate it.

LOL that's why i asked the questions!
I'll see what the policy is on games and whether you can return them if they don't work on your device. I bet you can't!

I'd love to live in an Amish community for a day. That'd be such a random experience.

How do these people do it?

a DAY! Lol. You could just go sit in the woods for a day. Or if you have a garden go out there and only allow youself in your shed (as long as you don't have a swish shed with power)
I'd quite like to try it for a few days or a week.

Lol, I say a day because I don't think I could hack any longer.
They take religion far too seriously. That'd be the end of me. The thought of having to go to Sunday school and sing hymns is horrendous. No offense to anyone who's religious, it's just not my thing<ok>

have you guys seen this? NBC are basically plugging the hell out of the premier league. The Bale graphic in Times Square was one thing (probably being taken down as we speak) but this is awesome!

Rafa didn't look very happy there in the stands did he? Probably sat there thinking "Who's this 'Zlatan' fella stealing all my thunder?"

My friends hosted a group of Amish teenagers for a Channel 4 documentary.
