Clarke playing very well but I don't think I've ever seen a luckier player than Smith. 300 up on day 1 <yikes>

I know I shouldn't say it but I really "hate" smith. He's not fit to lick the boots of the Aussie greats. He has soooo much luck it is untrue. He's a crap bowler who gets wickets with crap deliveries. And yet there he is 60 odd not out (well actually he's been out 4 times but he's that ****ing lucky).

I've been listening to it so not seen all the action but 2 shocking umpiring decisions I've seen on the news. Khawaja missed that ball by 4 or 5 inches and Smith was as plum lbw as anyone I've ever seen <doh>

We're going to need a good first innings performance with the bat (for once).

  7. From who? The batsman or umpires?

I've given up hope with the umpires in this series.

It's the worst I've known certainly since DRS has come in. Even with all the technology they have made a real balls up of it.

Worst umpiring I've ever seen in a series. At least they got the Khawaja decision right <whistle>

I still dont see the Aussies winning this Test unless they smash another 300 before tea...!!!

They are fighting back, and its good to see, but just wait till we see what score we put up after our 1st innings attempt...

650-8 dec, plays 580 all out with just the Monday afternoon sessions left in the match...

    You heard it here 1st...<laugh><laugh>

I think they will win itbecause ,apart fom Kawaga decision, they have had every bit of luck going. Lots of edges and play and misses but hardly anything has gone to hand.
Think they will end up 550 + . Think best we can hope for is a draw. Pitch looks flat..very flat

    Clarke is a top player.

Converted 50% of his test match 50's into 100's and, although I don't know the stat, he is typically Australian in converting 100's into double 100's.

    Don't hold your breath!!
