I'm still confused. We've signed a 'keeper who by know means excelled last season, on a two year deal when he's ****in' 40 years old! Are we mad? I could understand the temporary measure if we'd already sold Gomes and had been priced out of all the younger keepers we wanted. Saving money to spend elsewhere is nonsense, we'll have to buy a new keeper next year now anyway and probably another the season after when Carlo leaves. I'm not trying to be negative, I'm usually a very positive Spurs fan but I'm totally baffled at the moment.
It certainly is Just a heads up, i would keep clear of Messia this afternoon, he has already talked about picking up a 12inch cock in a gay bar, and just now he talked about unleashing a load on a mother
RRP dont suppose you know what happened Galvin and Stacey mate? Could do with one of his Friday threads, hes surely not just sitting somewhere working away.
I was wondering the same thing My guess is he is going to wait for JA606 to come back online and we will find him on there BBC606 has really screwed things up
I notice theres a lot of people viewing but not many members. if you're out there G&S me old mucker sign up fella. As I type this now There are currently 13 users browsing this thread. (2 members and 11 guests) so there are definitely people looking in. Come on boys sign up.
I agree with Saffa too, but I think that we'll still go on to sign another keeper. Gomes will move on and we'll bring in at least one more to replace him, possibly a youngster. Friedel will probably be looking to a future in coaching and Walker has already spoken about how much he's learned by playing with such an experienced keeper, who communicates with his defence. Getting in someone like Hennessey from Wolves or one of the young keepers like Loach from Watford would allow them to train with two highly knowledgeable stoppers and still get games in the cups.
There are a lot of voyeurs on this site, i dont think thats Galvins style really He will turn up eventually
I wonder if loads of people used to just read 606 without contributing, but we didn't know? It's like being at the Emirates. Lots of people silently watching...
Lots of people silently watching --------------------------------- Depends on which attendance you believe...Arsenal have been in trouble for saying they get 60,000 in their attendances every week
If they were proper guests they'd know that what they're doing with their hands whilst peering into our thread is highly inappropriate.
Not exactly what you'd call a long term replacement. Still, if he can keep our defence from having heart failure every time they let through a shot on goal, then I suppose for one season......
Arsenal's attendance figures aren't actually based on attendance. Seriously. They claim that it's based on tickets sold, so when the crowd looks to have massive gaps, that's just because people supposedly paid and didn't bother turning up.
If we line up with King (optimistic I know), Dawson, Walker and BAE the addition of Freidal will mean 4/5s of our back line will be speaking the Queen's, which has to a good thing. With Gomes communication has been an issue leaving a lot of uncertainty and stress at times.
On a serious note, thats a massive problem at Arsenal. Arsenal season tickets have gone up by 6% is it? And all thats doing is stopping the fans who would turn up every week into renewing their season ticket. The people who are buying the tickets are people who think £2k is pocket change, and if they dont bother to turn up for the games they dont really care. Whereas if i was to splash out £2k for a season ticket, not only would i get a kicking from the GF, but i would kill to make it to every game
So is the consensus here that Freidal is our new number 1? I'm not sure however it'll be interesting to see the squad number he's given.
