A rather pathetic post from someone with your signature. You are clearly out to provoke and yet I don't believe Piskie has broken any rules on the spurs board?

Very sad. If you can't take it, don't dish it out.

2. You don't post very often on this board, so I will forgive you your ignorance on this subject.

PESKIE has waged a puerile but spiteful hate-campaign against me for more than a season. He stalks me on board and posts on threads with no intention other than make his spiteful comments. He is like a stuck record, spewing out the same old boring bile time and time again. If I ever make any comment about him, it is merely to react to his attacks, I never initiate the confrontation. I am telling you, in no uncertain terms, that I have grown tired of his constant attacks.

And if you don't like it on this board, or the things that we Spurs fans discuss, might I humbly suggest that you take your pointless and partisan comments elsewhere?

Whilst I don't advocate banning him, he should remember that he may be a moderator on your board ( another subject I'll come to in a minute) but he is a guest here. He rarely appears here unless it's with something negative about Spurs. I believe that he's intelligent enough to know what he's doing, so I'll call it borderline wumming. And that's being kind.

I rarely appear on your board, or any other club's. the last time I did, things got a little argumentative and I pointed out to Peskie that as he was supposed to be a moderator perhaps he should start by moderating his own behaviour. His response? I was banned!..

HIAG - I have no objections to your discussions. But I do have opinions from time to time and they are more often than not 100% correct.

Be the bigger man and change your silly signature if you really want to stop your 'feud'.

Somehow I don't think you will or do.

NSIS - as you describe it, the ban would have been totally out of order.

5. A very similar story to my own. I was banned, even in the face of massive support from rank and file Gooners. When half their board left to set up on another site, I was invited to join them as an honourary guest.

It really is about time that we gave PESKIE a taste of his own medicine. Banning him from this board would be than justified in absolute terms, but especially considering the trifles over which non-partisan posters are banned from the Gooner board.

7. Manchester United are ready to enter the race to sign Tottenham star Gareth Bale, 24, who is still wanted by Real Madrid, reports the Independent.

<doh>
That's right. Bale would much rather go and work under a complete non-entity manager than stick with a Europa League + domestic league title winning manager - AVB.

Man United want to buy everyone who can kick a ball forward or chop someones legs.
Another way of BUYING their usual yearly championship.Sad really for the rest of the Football League.
One day, perhaps, the league may only allow a club to buy 2 players a year and then they will have to work for it!!!!!

10. Notso, I love this Whinger quote, from that article:-

“Even if you go on the Eiffel Tower and you throw the money away, you have to play with the players you have.”

Excuse me, but.... what?

What does the Eiffel Tower have to do with any of this?

This has a certain "when the seagull follows the trawler" about it, except without the haunting poetic imagery.

Yes, if you throw the money away then you'd have to use the current players, but that's why people want you to spend it instead, you mental Frenchman.

13. Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric, 27, is being linked with a move back to Tottenham as part of a world-record Gareth Bale deal but it is believed Modric would prefer a move to Manchester United.
(Source: The Mirror)

Question: is The Mirror an Arsenal journo-rag, by any chance?

It is the very fact that Rat-Boy would rather play at any club than Spurs that is the very reason why no self-respecting Spurs fan would want him back at the Lane.
<doh>

Do these journos actually think about what they are writing before they let it spew from their lap-tops?

Modric has been playing for Madrid constantly this season and pre-season. He's not going anywhere.

Got to love the Express headline: Gareth Bale ready to leave as Spurs prepare to take summer spending over £100m

Ready to leave!!!!!

The picture, caption and text says "Bale was spotted leaving Tottenham's Enfield Training Ground today, having trained with the club this morning."

They need comedy-sized gloves for teh facepalm they should award themselves.

If I had a pound for every time he's left the training ground...

I thought I'd find this thread again considering the ludicrous overeaction to Walker's "drug habit", something that happened three months ago but is for some reason only "news" now (just before the England matches).

You have to name them as well...

Chris Richards

His name is Chris Richards.

19. Yes, indeed. This thread was created for just this kind of lazy and reactionary so-called journalism.

Good call.

As expected, our good friends at the Daily Wail - specifically Neil Ashton - is implying Walker should be dropped from the England team for doing something that is neither illegal nor contravenes the laws of the game.

Meanwhile, fellow Wail writer John Drayton is trying to paint him like some drug-addled loon.
