Exactly mate. 19 years ago today, we signed Jurgen klinsmann. I remember it like it was yesterday. The day before my 9th birthday and World Cup usa 94 having finished about 2 weeks before. I couldn't believe it. What a birthday present that was. By the way, incase you didn't realise... It's my birthday tomorrow. Lets hope there's some sort of déjà vu, and soldado is the new klinsmann.
Happy Birthday Roo. This is the opening line from a Guardian article, which is much the same as the Mail article both apparently coming partly from a Jamie Jackson in Hong Kong. Who is described elsewhere as the MANCHESTER correspondent for the Guardian. Presumably in Hong Kong to cover the Man U game. Bale is distraught? Really? No evidence is presented for this 'fact' apart from AVB's refusal to discuss the matter of Bale further. If true you would have thought that at least some evidence would be presented even if only that someone had actually spoken to Bale. I just wonder how much the Manchester link is significant here.
Bale distraught?...when? whilst in Honk Kong around his team-mates?, he didn't look too distraught getting on the bus home out there signing autographs.
That article was a disgusting piece of journalism. The Guardian should be ashamed. We now have other fans on here saying he's had his head turned. I've not seen one single quote. The only quote i've seen is AVB saying the contract talks were ongoing.
Other fans!!...they can concern themselves as follows... Goons....**** off and discuss why Higuain rejected you. Chavs....**** off and discuss why JoMo doesn't like Mata and Luiz. Mancs...just **** off!
Are you leaving it open for Pool fans or do they just not matter? You forgot City, oh! but they only have one fan anyway he can **** off too.
Manc's' encompasses the whole of Manchester...and of course Luke in Oldham! ...no comment on your first sentence!
They are not pursuing Bale because we have an arrangment with them. The partnership deal is irrelevant to the pursuit of Bale. We may expect better conduct because, but signing it hasn't increased the chances of losing Bale.
The point is that it's just as believable as all the other reports on the subject. Whatever happens Spurs will not come out of this badly we hold the Aces, and Levy is a master Poker player.
The ONLY player swap i would consider is that of Ronny. That way we still have one of the best players in the world and a draw to other players to sign. If Levy can muster Ronny + cash for Bale with Real paying some of Ronny's wages for the next 4 years then that might be a deal i'd go for
The Grauniad reporting that Bale has "itchy feet" - with no evidence to support that claim. Then again, this is The Grauniad we're talking about, who always make snide remarks about us. Their pre-season guide is essentially an excuse for them to stick the boot into us.
