Overall, I'd say Mad Max 2 is actually a really good film. I was a bit skeptical after the first one, which wasn't brilliant. But I was pleasantly surprised.

You and me both, bro (though I did go to the gym yesterday). Skyrim and GT5, what fun! And it may have taken about an hour, but I finally won that ****ing Lamborghini race.

I'm playing GT5 right now! The Lambo event really annoyed me, but I ended up just tuning the **** out of a Gallardo and customised the transmission myself, so it was easy in the end but I probably lost a lot more money than I earned. Doing it in B-Spec is where it really gets tricky.

That's pretty much exactly the same thing I did, minus the customised transmission (although I did tune up the transmission, but I figured my knowledge of cars is too limited to do any customisation).

That Rome circuit is a real bitch.

B-Spec in general is quite stressful.

Little tip for the transmission (if you have fully customizable): lowering the gear ratios will sacrifice top speed for acceleration. So if you're on a track with lots of corners and no long straights (such as Rome), lowering the ratios can make it significantly easier. You're not going to have a chance to hit your top speed anyway with all those corners, so there's no harm in lowering it. Just remember to raise the ratios back up when you're on a track where it's won or lost on the straights, like Sarthe.

Also the Gallardo is heavy, it understeers and it slides around a lot. You can solve those problems with a weight reduction upgrade, which obviously makes it lighter; a spoiler to add downforce (which you can fine tune in the body settings), which helps it grip the road; and with fully customizable suspension, if you make the front of the car lower than the back, and change the camber angle to somewhere between 3.0 and 4.5, you'll turn a lot better.

You could do the same thing with a Ferrari or similar sports car. Also, soft tyres. Always soft tyres.

Have I inspired an orgasm? Is it sort of like I've given you a handjob in an indirect sort of way?

Not yet, probably later though. You can think of it as wingmanning. Or, you know, an indirect handy, whatever.

Ha! Understatement of the century! It handles like a whale on ice. I bought all the weight reductions including the reduced window weight and a carbon fibre bonnet.... Even the rigidity improvement in a vain attempt to improve the handling. Didn't think of getting a spoiler though, that makes sense. And thanks for the customisation tips!

I'm calling it second-hand-cyber-jerking, or "sherking" for short.

No problemo. It's pretty much the same rule for anything that understeers, but if you want to get it exactly right then the best thing to do is take each new car out for a practice drive and just tweak things. Sort of trial and error. Every car's a bit different after all.

If I manage to self-fellate then we can call it 'shucking'.

Interesting stuff from a bookie trying to get Saints fans to bet on this season's top scorer...

The first one was made on an insanely low budget, and it showed.

Third one is worth a watch as well, not as good as the second, but better than the first.

Hope the new one is good. Same as the new Goonies film being made, I'm worried they're **** it up.

You can't mess with the Goonies. Besides, Ian Dowie has retired from acting now I believe.

    It's Joke Kinnear time again:-

    Source: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footba...medium=twitter

Kinnear has already drawn up a list of matches to be attended by him and chief scout Graham Carr to identify targets for the transfer window in January.

Hmmm drawing up a list of targets for January eh? I'd be feeling a little edgy as a Newcastle fan right now.

This tickled me because I am a little bit childish.... Has Joe signed anyone yet?

You people are trying to get blood from a stone. Kinnear's been working hard; he has already met Pardew at least twice, and he's about ready for another vacation. By the time he gets back it will be September, so it's only natural to plan for January transfers.
