    Have i sold out ????

    Have i become a reluctant red ???

    Have i rejected our history/identity/club ???

Today i found myself not singing along when the song was being sung, i just sat there thinking we now play in Red its time to move forward and start the next chapter in our history.

Strangely though chanting Bluebirdssssssssssss still comes out loud and clear.

Anyway i blame it on age and mellowing out !!!!

I'm with you Eldon, maybe I'm not so reluctant with the red, would love to be blue but not on my 100 things to do list.

I just think of us as a chameleon. We change our colours to survive....I'd still rather play in blue though.

I would say something but as I'm not in the country I apparently don't know anything.

I 'emigrated' 26 years ago, first to Brizzle for 10 years (5 years at 72 The Worthys in Eldon's neck of the woods) then 16 years in Cheshire. After growing up as a Rhondda boy, I'm as Welsh as they come and have lots of opinions on what is going on at The City whether you want to hear about it or not.

Keep shouting loud and proud Welshman.

or what it's worth and stating the bleeding obvious, the bluebird is blue in colour right. So we'll always be the bluebirds.

you will be laughed at as the only club who has different shirts to the players.....you really don't want that it will make you look silly......You obviously don't associate the team as being cardiff or you would wear the club colours....I understand what your saying but wearing blue wont change tans mind in a million years, he is on a mission to turn the club into something that represents the malaysian people and dont give a fig for the locals who's club it should be, There is only one way to get your club back and i know its drastic but its the only way.....vote with your feet. Tan has almost turned everything red and everyone knows that the stadium will follow and once that happens then thats the end and you will have to accept it....Its not the fans fault i know that but there is a strong principle involved here and its the die hard fans who are hurting the most as the identity of the bluebirds are disintegrating in front of their eyes....I do feel for you having long term bluebird mates...

    Dai

You are just not in touch. Yes, there is a vocal minority who keep on about the blue/red thing but they are now few and far between most of us have accepted it as the way forward. It may change in the future but who knows.

As to voting with feet, if the vast majority of fans were that concerned do you think we would have sold out 20,000 season tickets for the coming season (over 18,000 last season) and have a waiting list of thousands who are desperate for the ground enlargements to take place so they can also become full on st holders?

You really are trying to become an agent provocateur in this and attempting to instill your own wishful thinking on those of us who know we have to move with the times.

It has been said so often - you can't change history and that will always be with us!!! <ok>

Dai - we wont be laughed at, that's just forum wum **** perpetuated by posters like you. Give it a rest - you're boring the pants off us.

Wishful thinking by you and others wont make it happen however much you reckon your "Bluebirds" mates tell you - you are completely out of touch with the mainstrean Cardiff supporters who have taken the changes on the chin and now want to see the club progress.

Your doomsday scenarios are a pain in the arse to everyone on here. If you want to talk football, try us. In the meantime give over for ****'s sake. <ok>

Just out of curiousity what sort of items and colours do they stock in your club shop ?

Eg, do they sell t shirts, training tops etc that are blue or has the blue gone alltogether ? Not a wum, only asking because if someone wants to continue supporting the club but feel strongly about the colour wouldn't it be a viable option to wear something bought from the club, if that option is available of course ?

Don't know about the Tooting Popular Front, but we need someone to stand up for our rights. I think Welshman should take up the mantle.

Perhaps we should start singing 'The Glorious Day'.

Dilli, I bought the blue away strip and a blue training top last season, I tried to buy a red shirt but I just couldn't do it. However ironic it may sound I do support VT in what he is trying to acheive at the club.

You'd think an entrepreneur would have been outside somewhere on match days Taff, with blue t shirts ready printed with CCFC or Bluebirds on them. A fortune could be made.

Hey when's your next friendly at home :D

Already been done, Billy the Badge has got that market sewn up, They have sold a few of the Blue polo shirts and t-shirts.

Not as much demand as people first thought, Most people have realised that the Blue is not about to return soon and we will be in Red for the foreseeable future.

They then pin there hopes on us being taken over by someone who will return us to Blue........... but what if we got taken over by someone who wanted us to play in White <yikes> <yikes>

sparkey you are being forced to wear red or else....that is the truth.......how long will it take before everything is red which is alien to cardiff??....every man and his dog knows that the 4 main clubs in wales have their own traditional colours and you are blue.(malaysia may be red)....Wrexham are the official red club with a dragon on their badge so what is tan thinking.cardiff are blue and have always been blue with a bluebird badge, red don't represent cardiff it represents malaysia in any true cardiff fan mind...
