Why do we need a striker? At the moment we're fine there. If anyone goes then that's different but we've got:
Altidore, Fletcher, Sessegnon, Wickham and Ji
That's enough imo. If Ji leaves then we should bring someone else in

The jury is out for me with Altidore. I know I've only seen him in 2 friendly's on a terrible pitch and I'm not basing my judgement on these 2 friendly's but I'm just not too sure about him.
I reckon Connor will step up to the mark this season though.

We need another striker because,Altidore is unproven in prem,ji is probably on his way.
Whickham and sess,well between the two how many goals have they got?
So for me we need a proven goal scorer,god knows who that would be.
Also i cannot see fletcher back fully up and running until sept-october,thats if there is no set back on his injury

I have to admit the same on jozy and also given the chance connor could do the biz
Taking into consideration the bereavement, i just think an instinctive striker would have buried one of those chances on weds, still showed positive signs though

Will Wickham ever a get a run in the team allowing him to build relationships and showing us what he can do? I think not. Shame imo cos I believe he is a good footballer. Unfortunately he is once again gonna be 3rd or 4th choice striker.

Even if Jozy doesnt score the goals, i think with his size and how well he holds the ball up we may get more goals from the likes of Sess, AJ and Jacky this season.
I would be very surprised if Connor will still be hear after the transfer window closes, the kid just dosn't do enough to warrant a run in he side, don't think he has a good football brain. Physically you can't fault him he looks like an athlete but he dosn't get into many good positions and he tends to drift out of the game for long periods.

Shiney, I hear what your saying mate but Danny Graham. A 13 match run in the team for what? Absolutely sweet FA. Young Wickham has never had that chance. I agree its highly unlikely he will ever get that run with Fletch & Alti, at least, ahead of him but imo will still come good for some premier team.
You will only see the best of Wickham in 3 or 4 years time. Hope we keep him to see him reach his peak.
