Morning AC. I'm puzzled why the rep has stopped at such an odd number. Any idea what's the significance?
It will probably be rep hitting it's ceilling. A good thing in a way as us addicts can all get back to talking football... And wean ourselves off the rep crack pipe.
What,......... this is a football Forum ? Thought it was like some sort of Facebook with no photos I'm off for a run now, to ponder my future without Rep Might need to write a book..........My life Without Rep.
go back to talking to the missus at night and not spend all evening on here cant do it she already had me convinced the name had changed "are you on BLOODY NOT606 again"
The maximum rep is 2^31 − 1 = 2147483647 It is because the website uses 32-bit signed integers to store the rep Let's demand the website upgrades to a 64-bit system, then we can have a rep of 9,223,372,036,854,775,807
so... it's official.... until Mick upgrades to a 64 bit system we all hover at this level in perpetuity?
I've set up a special group for anyone who wants to join in the banter about the good old days... when rep grew and men were men. http://www.not606.com/group.php?groupid=177
You are also getting close to the maximum number of user points; you have 3,008,359,088 and the maxmum for an unsigned (no neg points like with neg rep) 32-bit integer is 4,294,967,295
bugger... lol. It has been total abuse though. I honestly wouldn't mind if all rep and user points were expunged from the records.
So when you hit the ceiling number of Rep points, it stops the accumulation points as well ? More or less paralysing you ?
You should still be able to get points from posts and threads and stuff, though rep is by far the most efficient way. I don't know if you still get user points when you get rep if you are at max rep.
