Yes, after tonight, definitely.

To begin with he just seemed like a bit of a twat with an attitude problem - very pessimistic but entitled to his opinion and wasn't much ground on which to ban him.

But what with creating threads - pointless threads - and a new account - it's apparent that it's just wummery.

Banning him would be the ideal choice.

Tbf I think IP banning him will get rid of the need for a fourth moderator for now.
Does anyone know where AG is?
GRB has my vote out of everyone, but he's also away soon so can we not just have stand in mods when you lot go away?
Doesn't have to be democratical, could be someone the mods deem worthy and then when you're back from the holidays they can go back to normal.
Surely that's a better idea than increasing thhe number of moderators to a silly size?

Sensible and logical idea.

Hmm..

Sod it, lets ALL be mods.

That way, we can have a laugh editing each others posts.....

edit; 3000th <diva>

Have I missed something? He seemed to get out of the negative wind-up phase but everyone's slating him tonight. What's up? I think the biggest problem is the amount of newbies. Plenty of new members which is always good but there's been some right daft twats lately who know jack **** about football.

I was wondering the same thing, what'd we miss tonight?
And seconded, a lot of childish, uninsightful **** being spoken this week by new blood, it's getting harder to wade through and find the quality posts

Don't forget Chappaz. although i dont see why anyone else would bother, as No Way Past Jose will sweep away the competition just like last time...

Great shout...You're my choice for mod <whistle>

The thing about the newbies is... a lot of them are most likely coming over from 606. It's a big difference going from a forum which is HEAVILY modded to something as free and easy as this - a forum with, basically, no rules. I know that there are rules, but none that are automatically obvious as such and you can pretty much get away with a lot of things. There's no counter balance, or something between, to suggest superiority and authority to newbies, who apparently just seem to think they can post crap and get away with it as there's no 606 mods about. It also seems as if there's a million and one threads on the SAME thing. Maybe it'll be different when all this hype over Gammy and Gervy calms down, as I know it's hard to keep up.
Not all of them obviously, quite a few sound like pretty decent guys (from posting in that newbie thread) so ya know.

Guess we'll just have to get used to it from here on in.

He was creating threads, then somehow deleting his original comment in the thread so it said someone else had created it? He then went on to abuse any member who questioned what the **** he was doing.

& then set up an account called etoit writing everything backwards and having conversations with himself. Whilst this probably isnt ban worthy, it was annoying as ****.

I dont find your sarcasm amusing <wah>

On Topic: IMO, tonight has probably been a one off night, and as long as AG returns soon enough there is no need for a 4th mod.

<ok>
