poshminx go to the mod forum and there is a thread on there you can discuss it with the cardiff and swansea mods there<ok>

I'm only here because my attention has been drawn to your board. So I will help by clarifying the stance I take.

All individual football board communities create their own varied set of rules. If an opposing member visits another board they then should abide by those rules.

Quite often stages of warnings leading up to any possible ban are discussed within communities. These are self governing rules of that community and not those of the supermods.

I deem my role as quite straight forward:

If a mod asks for an opposing member to be banned with a reasonably justifiable explanation, then that member will incur a board ban from the opposition ongoing, until it is requested to be lifted.

If a mod requests a ban for one of its own members it will be a site ban. Either timed or ongoing. To avoid the potential of knock on consequences to the opposition.

A mod cannot request a ban for an opposing member from its opposite numbers board or any other come to that. Although supermod discretion will be used to calm a situation in the event that team's mod not being online. We can then have the arguments later once they come back online.

I would prefer not to ban anyone and individuals agree to return to their own board but life is never that simple.

I will leave you to it now. At least you have been warned if I'm asked to start pressing buttons.

ps. I forgot to add, if anyone is found attempting to breach a ban, then supermods may decide a site ban is appropriate of all found and subsequent created accounts (it only takes seconds to do), overriding of previous implementation.

I have already posted my solution on the mods board for them to consider as I personally would not tolerate some of the childish behaviour displayed on some boards.

But then I'm a mum & recognise how to deal with squabbling children :D

Why not just force all members to declare their team in their profile, allow no changes to that, and then stop Swans fans entering the Cardiff board and vice versa. We can be done with this charade then.

That would be a real shame, no need for that IMO.

ProjectVRD because there are some good debates to be had between Swans and Bluebirds, the problem begins when someone posts something unrelated to the thread or someone joins in just to disrupt a thread. Your solution means the idiot fringe win!

I certainly don't want any members not to be able to visit there opposite numbers board. It's better that they just go away and calm down for 24hrs. But as we know that will not happen so then it will be the inevitable vicious cycle.

Okay, instead of going down that route how about confining offenders to only their home board? Sort of like house arrest, instead of banning from one particular board.

Do you ever listen to common sense? BrB has spelt it out. Why do you feel the need to poke your nose in over here or seek to change the rules of a site that has worked perfectly well for years. This problem has all arisen since the likes of you and two or three others have been intent on spoiling perfectly good football threads. Go away.

The problem with that Dai is if a Cardiff fan goes on the Swansea board and wums all the time they get banned. If a Swansea fan comes on the Cardiff board and wums all the time nothing happens.

What's good for the goose..
