I would say the Arsenal team is far better than the Liverpool team of 2 years ago, but I think the addition of Coutinho and Sturridge and the young players coming through such as Sterling and Wisdom have closed the gap on paper at least. I have not once claimed Liverpool are as good a team as Arsenal at the moment, simply stating on paper there doesn't look alot between the teams in terms of quality of player. Of course Arsenals team have been together alot longer and you have a far more experienced manager.

Arsenal have regressed badly in comparison to the team of 07/08. But Liverpool don't even look a former shadow of themselves when you compare them to that title challenging side with Torres, Alonso, and Gerrard in his pomp.

Yep I think that is the side I would pick. 11 v 11 I don't think there's much in it to be fair between the two sides, but as a squad Arsenal are the stronger
