Good man Taff, you know my feelings from previous chats we've had, I know yours and I know that you've been genuine with your thoughts on our board even though some of ours have put up a brick wall of defiance.
I've seen some of the stuff put on your board from our lot and I'm surprised you've waited this long. I wouldn't have blamed you one bit for handing out a couple of bans.

I'm all for a bit of banter and have done some serious leg pulling over the years myself but there is a line and by Christ it's been crossed. I miss my chats with Aber and I've had some good laughs with Swamp, Bob and a few others too. Where's Clingo gone ? What a top bloke he is.

I'm seeing Neveroffside in Reading tomorrow and I'll have a chat and point him in your direction.

I agree Dilli - have been a little embarrassed by some of the **** Taff has had to put up with when venturing over to our board; like you, I have always found him to be a genuine poster. I am also surprised, but impressed, at the reluctance of Taff and co to hand out bans even though most of their threads get multiple attempts at derailing!

I am all for banter, but a lot of the stuff posted go's well beyond that; and before I get accused of being a closet Cardiff fan, I know that there is fault on both sides but, it seems to me that lately some of ours have been on a deliberate mission to derail Cardiff threads with the most puerile attempts at 'banter'!

We are on the brink of a historic season - two Welsh clubs competing at the top level - let's not spoil it by giving the supporters on other boards the impression that we are just a bunch of school kids arguing over whose dad is the hardest! There is plenty of anti Welsh sentiment on the larger Not606 site; remember that we had to suffer countless 'Welsh team taking an English teams place in the Premier League' comments, so let's not give them any more ammunition to throw at us!

Am hoping both our great clubs can do well in the coming season, and that posters on both boards can enjoy some friendly banter and constructive conversations without resorting to the sort of childish bollox that has been far too common recently!

dilli im still here in peace if the jacks want it..............I will never disrespect someone who doesn't deserve it and people like yourself cartoon bongo ivor etc are always welcome whatever shirt you wear............<ale>.....as you know me being a city fan, colour doesn't bother me <laugh>

anyway my take on this problem is, throw out the bad eggs and welcome the good uns....:police:
 
Only three weeks to wait for the football to start.

I doubt this board will still be in existence by then. The crap this summer has been unbelievable.

The thing is mate that Taff via pm could be abusive or say anything he wanted to, I'm not one to disclose details of PM's but I will say that he and I have spoken that way and he's been nothing but civil and decent.

Ps, you're right about all the rest too. Don't get me started on the racist comments made against us, I had some really massive arguements with QPR fans last season

visitors come in 3 groups,

A) Wums & Derailers
B) Talk football but also wum a bit
C) good guys

now ideally you ban people in the A category, and as a mod you delete posts from B's, and if they constantly ignore and derail you then you temp ban.......

mods have a tough job and theres my view, hope we get a common sense solution.....<ok>

Can't comment on Taff via PM - but have also always found him civil and decent!

And as for QPR - was that just a bad dream? ;)

Agree Swamp, but as well as a common sense solution would hope all posters would also exercise some common sense - feel some are too trigger happy and post before they think! ;)

If the Mods have a list of Cardiff City posters, can you list those who have not posted in the last 3 months ?

Let's see where we are going.

To be honest I've just about had enough. Even thinking of joining AAMB at least the jacks on there cant take advantage.
