glad to see the end of this particular debt, galled to see hammam will still be in the frame, even if he will have no influence (i hope). this seems to be the first of many steps that will be needed for tan to take full control of the club and get the club on a more stable footing......

I'm in trouble!!!.... I think it's more like you girls to be honest Dave, can I call you Dave, Dave! Oh my sides are hurting.........<laugh><laugh>

Let's be honest that's not to hard is it?

In your dreams Drag on phill redswan, you'll wake up soon to a real nightmare.

I am not in the least bit happy Sam is back.

Well at last!! It took how many pages for the penny to drop! And how many on here are in denial, if things get tough this season, and they will, then Sam being now in the melting pot, could be very interesting to say the least!..............<ok>

I am not in the least bit happy Sam is back.

No me Taff but I don't think Tan is worried. Sam has no voting rights and no voice in the boardroom. Don't think it will be long before he resigns from his position through ill health.

You'll have to stop smoking that stuff aber gives you Dave, and come back to the real world!.....................<cheers>

Sorry to disappoint you Drag on phill redswan but I don't smoke, not even tobacco. As for the real world, it's a hard task master and you redswans will come down with a bump.

"then Sam being now in the melting pot, could be very interesting to say the least!"..............

that's if you read the press and believe what it says you mean phil........so how long will it be before the huw loudrop battle flares up again en,or was that just rumour and press exaggeration as per the norm.

get a life phillip for fk sake....I can call you phillip can I>>>>>one L or 2 in phillip?

<laugh> Very witty dude, very witty indeed, didn't think you had it in you!.....................<cheers>

you still didn't answer me from earlier 2 Philip......I can call you Philip yeah.........do you think by winning the first MAJOR cup in your hundred year history you should be in the first round proper instead of having 2 play TNS and the likes.

The love for our football teams is being lost with the foreign owners coming into our clubs. I myself have seen the worst side of having an overseas owner in Carson Yeung, Birmingham are struggling financially and are having to sell our best players.

Another foreign owner of a football club who has lost sight of what it is to be a football fan is Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan. Changing the clubs colours is something I could not comprehend, seeing my beloved Blues play in red or another colour in their home kit wouldn’t sit right.

In that sense I do feel for the Bluebirds fans, but on the other hand Tan has given them Premier League football for the first time in their clubs history. The Malaysian has publicly spoke of his disappointment in the fans not 100% backing him. The Sun reported:

I am surprised there are fans against the colour. I’m actually quite disappointed with that.

I was willing to invest and put in a lot of money into the club that several times could have gone bust and had financial trouble and a big court case with the former owner.

We spent £15million last season to buy players and we went up. That’s how we got up. I’m disappointed that after 51 years of not being in the top flight that there are still some fans who don’t think we have done a good job.

I may say maybe they are not grateful, so that part is disappointing. But like anything in life in democracy you won’t have 100 per cent support.

We have to think that those against us are about five per cent. We will try to live with that but it is disappointing.

If too many of them show we are not welcome, maybe you will have a new owner.

I can’t even imagine what the Cardiff fans must think of these words. Its like selling the heart and soul of the club to gain top flight football. No matter how much I want Birmingham in the Premier League I would not want to change the foundations of the club to get there.

The new season starts in a few weeks and it will be interesting to see how well Cardiff do, whether they avoid relegation or not, I can still see many fans never coming to terms with the colour change. Would United fans accept playing in any other colour than their famous red, of course they wouldn’t so why should Cardiff fans have to accept it?

Vincent Tan can clearly let his money do the talking, and maybe the fans are coming to terms with the change and are overall happy. I myself wouldn’t be over the moon with such a drastic change and I’d like to think no fans really would, but what do I know… I’m only a football fan. - Rhys Mills

Fair comment from a Brumy!.................<ok>

I am not in the least bit happy Sam is back.

Dont think many are that happy Taff, but as with the rebrand we can only go with what VT deems the right way for our football club to go <ok>

Saw something at FGR tonight which made me throw up in my mouth, Sam the Scam sitting in the stand surrounded by members of his fan club and people asking for autographs

Drag on phill redjack,

Time for you to get of your high horse, between 1973 and 1975 Swansea dropped the swan from their badge and played with a red dragon, then between 2000 and 2002 they played with a red swan badge, they have used green, red & orange in their kits. It's how things are, anything to sell a few more shirts.

Me, well I've got a Blue Shirt with a Bluebird on it, I've got a Blue Shirt with a red Dragon & a Bluebird on it and I've got a Red Shirt with a red Dragon and a Bluebird on it. This year I'll wait for the Yellow shirt. Guess what, whatever shirt I wear to the Football, Blue, Red. Yellow, Black I'll still be cheering on Cardiff City and that's all that matters.

End of.

autographs be fkd <laugh>...........simple twats they should be poking him in the eye with a screwdriver instead
